Sounds like the Ayr goalkeeper tried to play with his feet but lost the ball leaving Ruari to round him and slot it into the empty net. Also from what I saw on Tuesday night against Queen's Park he was playing as an attacking midfielder on the right and at times was also playing in midfield so whilst he's scored twice for St Johnstone I get the impression that Simo Valakari doesn't know what Ruari's best position is either which isn't really ideal as that's now 4 managers who don't seem to know what his best position is

Jordan Slew remember him scored a penalty in the shootout for Southport this afternoon and they won which means they are through to the FA Trophy semi-final where they will either face Southend, Wealdstone or Marine.

Was he at the club when Vale had the likes of Dany N'Guessan , luer and campion on the books? That was a weird season

I'm more surprised to see he's only 33 !

Yep, he was at the club when we had Dany N'Guessan, Greg Luer who is now at National League South side Horsham and Campion.

I can't believe he is 33 either as it feels like he has been around forever.

I remember vale had Vesli during that time and being really impressed with him. Two years later he's playing for Albania in the Euros

See Will Forrester played middle of a back three for Orient today in their defeat to Barnsley. Always liked him.

Also playing for Tranmere today in addition to Planty were Smith and Lowe in the back three as well as Marosi in goal. Not exactly blessed for pace there. Crosbys book of contacts doesn't seem to stretch much beyond ST6 it seems.

Debrah seems to have made himself a mainstay in the Bromley defence as well. Not that I disagree with the decision to move off him.

Jenson Wier scored the winner for Wigan yesterday.

Connell Rawlinson been appointed Chester manager until the end of the season. Still plays as well.

Paul Marshall has left West Didsbury & Chorlton (North West Counties Prem) after their FA Vase defeat on penalties on Saturday.

Smith, Plant and Marosi started for Tranmere in their defeat at Newport. Jason Lowe an unused sub. They are in freefall to such an extent I don’t think you can rule out them being relegated now. We all saw once it fell apart from Crosby here he had no answers and it’s happening again.

I said to a Tranmere fan that the last time they had an ex Vale manager in charge they got relegated into non-League

Good player, would pair up well with the Sherrif.

Ryan Edmondson scored two goals for St Patrick's yesterday
