Interestingly it seems Paton paying behind the number 9 today in the 10 role

I have noticed that so far for St Johnstone he has either been playing in the number 10 role or as a right attacking midfielder. I don't think he has played up front for them yet and I'm sure in one game he was playing in midfield which seemed very bizarre so I get the impression that Simo Valakari doesn't know what Ruari's best position is either which isn't good as you get the impression that 4 managers (Darren Moore, Jim Goodwin, Jon Brady and Simo Valakari) just don't see Ruari as a striker. The thing is if this is the case that the managers don't know what Ruari's best position is then you have to question yourself what Ruari's best position is.

Woops spell error from my side a as I completely missed 'behind' from the sentence

I agree though, he doesn't suit uptop unless it's he has a partner up there with him

The fact that he's playing behind the striker suggests that either Simo is happy with playing one up front (which is what it looks like) or he just doesn't see Ruari as a striker.

He does need to have someone playing up front with him but the fact that he's been playing as a number 10 or as a right attacking midfielder gives off the impression that nobody seems to know what his best position is.

Ruari played up front for St Johnstone today and whilst one St Johnstone fan thought he was excellent another one thought that he lacked real support and as a result was very quiet and didn't have an impact on the game. Although he has scored 2 goals for them I get the sense that the loan spell has been very hit and miss so far given that he hasn't been playing up front and has either been playing in the number 10 role, as an attacking right midfielder and for one game as a midfielder.

Debrah played again for Bromley as they look to make it to league one in top spot. You’d have thought that Ainsworth must be under some pressure at Gillingham, they shipped 5 goals for the second game in a row in a 5-0 defeat at Cambridge (featuring Gibbo), who are in the automatics to come up to league one. Oldham are in good form in league two as well, captained by Tom Pett to another win. Shrewsbury had 4 ex players featured in Benning, Sang, George Lloyd and McDermott as they lost to Shrewsbury.

Sometimes managers find a club that fits and struggle elsewhere and certainly that’s been the case with him outside of Wycombe.

Scott Tanser playing for St Mirren today against Rangers. Not been the best advert for Scottish football this. We beat both of these based on this game.

Scottish Football. Home of the ex Vale left backs. Tanser , Monty and Mr red card himself jason Talbot.

I believe Joe Cardle is now coaching up there nowadays after his playing career

Probably nothing more than paper talk but apparently club brugge are monitoring Tolaj.

That's quite the step up from league 1 but I think its almost certain he ends up at a championship club in the summer

Well Done Alfie
