    He is now,  we've played the world and his dog ,out of position, at wing back when he first left,square pegs in square holes for me.

    See that Curtis netted for Plymouth last night. They’re only 6 points off the play offs now. Just shows what decent recruitment can do I suppose.

    Did give that game a watch. Nothing write home about at all, Paton had half an hour and touched the ball about 3 times. Really can’t do with games on plastic pitches, the run of the ball and the bounce is just weird.

    I note after his debut goal and the clamour that he was our saviour he was then hooked at half time in his second game and now given the last half hour.  Is the St Johnstone manager forming a similar view as DM and JB now he is working with him on a daily basis?

    Yeah, there’s basically the myth of Ruari Paton and the reality of Ruari Paton. One of those players who because he is out the team suddenly turns into prime Batistuta in some people’s eyes.

    Not ex Vale related but did get one of the all time misses during the game. This is the kind of thing would expect from Uche and Loft.

    And Ronan got another assist from a corner yet for us his corners were the majority of the time awful as they never beat the first man.
