Ex-Players still playing

Ryan Edmondson has left Australian club Central Coast Mariners. Haven't seen any of his game since he went there but he just managed the 6 league goals in 2 years.

Brandon Cover was on the bench for Leicester today

Plant came on with 10 minutes to go for Tranmere in a 2-0 defeat to Salford. Be interesting how long he’s reunited with Crosby for as they seem in a tailspin now. Smith obviously started for them and Jason Lowe an unused sub.

Tbh I can't see Crosby lasting beyond the season.

Agreed. I think they'll avoid relegation by the skin of their teeth buts it's not looking good

5 defeats on the bounce now

Seeing the comments from their fans about how he seems wedded to the wingback formation and stubbornly won't change it. Sounds all too familiar that, unfortunately with Croz I think the book on him now is great assistant, not so much as the manager.

Completely agree. A top bloke who was a massive part in the promotion season. A great assistant for any lower league team, but he's been fount out as a manager sadly

Would have liked him back here, injury free obviously

A link popped up on my Twitter feed to Robinsons post match interview for Salford, he was basically saying how tranmeres centre halves are more interested in a physical scrap so they tried to draw them out of position to scrap higher up the pitch, obviously one of the players he’s targeting there is Nathan smith.

Sam morsey was a late sub in Bristols drubbing from Derby. Arblaster came on for Sheffield U at Millwall. Alfie Devine started for Preston at Ipswich. Pett and Hannant both got a half each for Oldham as they lost to Gibbos Cambridge, they’re on a ridiculous unbeaten run btw. Johnson is still a regular in defence for Wimbledon, we’ll see him Tuesday. Curtis played for Plymouth. Harness scored 2 for Huddersfield. Connor Grant came on as sub for Accrington. Theo Vassell started again for Crawley with McKirdie on as a late sub, Lewis cass also came on as a sub for Harrogate in the same game. Sang and McDermott both came on as subs for Shrewsbury, where George Lloyd started. Connor Ripley was in goal for Swindon against barrow where Charlie Raglan started and Ben Whitfield came on as sub.

Very detailed thanks.  Missed Jesse at Bromley as assume we can class him as an ex player now😉

Solid report that. Nice research,  I always enjoy keeping an eye on former players.

I noticed kurtis guthrie is now with Scottish league 1 side queen of the south

What really surprised me though was his age. He's only 32 yet feels like he's been around for donkeys

I had him in mind last night too after seeing some twitter footage of him getting away with conceding a blatant peno. Cant believe I forgot him.

I’d rather watch the EFL highlights show than the boring premier league on MOTD, so it’s always nice to to spot ex players and keep tabs on them in some way. I’m sure there plenty I’ll forget about or miss out though, so I’m glad that others on here spot them and mention them. Guthrie, totally forgot about him, what a season that was, all I can picture is that disgusting chess board kit and Frank Sinclair.

Cover has signed for Rotherham

Uche scored on his debut for Ross County last night.

That will be the only goal they see from him this season. Good to get it in early
