Uche scored on his debut for Ross County last night.

That will be the only goal they see from him this season. Good to get it in early

Give it 2 months and he'll be on the move again

The Yak ! He actually has two European goals to name from his time at St mirren during their conference league qualification games but unfortunately wasn't enough for them to make it

Another defeat for Crosby and Tranmere. Writing on the wall now you'd imagine

See that Alnwick started last night for Huddersfield as they lost in the Vertu cup on pens to Doncaster. More ex-Vale players played against each other too with Mckirdey and Vassell starting for Crawley in their defeat to Cambridge featuring  Gibbo (he got an assist too).

Don’t understand the Marosi decision by Ted Lasso to send him out on loan.

Gauci has had enough opportunities and can’t kick a football.
Amos has had enough opportunities and can’t catch a football.
Marosi hasn’t had a chance for months and quite frankly wasn’t any worse than the other two.

Still, great Saturday afternoon for us. Didn’t lose. No arguments about the performance. This pitch issue is a blessing in disguise. The weather has been poor today. No rain to cancel the next home fixture. A rain dance needed to keep these cancellations going and a great Saturday had by all.

Harness played in defeat for Huddersfield at Stevenage. Can’t see us getting anything there Tuesday. Raglan started for barrow as they got a win in their first game with Dina Maamrias as manager. Deb’s played in a draw for high flying Bromley v Notts county. Gibbo (looked like he was captain again) played for Cambridge in another win for them v Bristol rovers, who had Kofi Balmer playing. Reading the Sky sports match report and both of them had long throws that lead to goals.  Cass played for Harrogate as they got a good draw at chesterfield. Mitch Clark got 5 mins as sub in a draw at Oldham, where Pett was captain for them. George Lloyd scored for Shrewsbury and mal Benning came on for his 500th career appearance according to their social media.

Always end up missing a few. I’ll be doing some laps of Westport lake in a Loft relegation kit as punishment.

The only thing that spoils a Saturday afternoon like that is you finding time to post, confirming that you're still, sadly, posting on here.

I saw Tom Pope post match interview after the 3-1 defeat yesterday.

He did one similar a few weeks where he threw players under the bus saying they don't have the right mentality to be there and shouldn't be playing.
