I didn't say at the start of the game... 🙂

I always go with a tank full of enthusiasm, however as the minutes tick by and the performance is so negative the tank starts to empty. The only time I’ve booed was last week, just to fit in with the Luton fans.

Come on Vale! Let's have a bagful of goals for us today and a convincing, moral-boosting, confidence-building win!

UTV!

I just hope whatever mental block they seem to have about playing at home they can brush that off today. Don’t be afraid of the ambitious ball forward and keep moving into space like we were at Luton. Although we didn’t win in the end I was encouraged we fell behind then forced ourselves into a winning position so that was a good sign.

Just win, that’s it.

I think that Posh are going to park the bus today, 0-0 for me, but I hope and for any kind of win.

I'd like to see a goal, this will be my 9th game and I've not seen one yet.

I’ll be there today so I’ll apologise in advance as there’s no chance we’ll win. Must have been to 10-15 games since Wembley and we haven’t won any

I'm 9 miles away, been a long time since we beat Posh at home, make my day lads change this losing streak here.

Been a long time since we beat anyone at home never mind Posh ( league obviously before someone says we beat Bristol etc !! ) .

Can I buy you a Stoke season ticket with that record .

Looking forward to it today with hope. I'm here for the duration but anything other than victory then the rest of the season becomes an ordeal. Come on boys

I think if you look at Port Vale FC over last especially last  10 years i can think of, ive never known us be a winning home team often .

The fact our gates have gone up is testament too the shanahans ,however we have too win our home games and keep folk interested in attending .

i can count on two hands how many games ive come home from in last ten years at home (says about 30 out of 230 games ) and gone wow what a great home team we are even last years promotion ,Bromley ,Fleetwood ,Bradford exceptions all the rest of games i wouldnt have said we played like we were the business for a team so high in league and with the excellence we bought in

Hope it turns for you today and you see a win .

Team news soon whoevers chosen better be ready too entertain

You are right but it won't help the club we a claim to support...

Never said it would that wasn't my point Im just saying that it works both ways.

In my experience everyone starts the game positive and hopeful and its usually a minority who resort to booing and negativity but in every case the booing and negativity stems from poor results and poor performances.

Welcome back Mitch. Shame Byers can’t make it. Think the bench has far better balance this week.

Definitely the good old sports lesson at school. Today’s school attenders would go into melt down

Interesting interpretation of that scene. I imagine the kestrel had it coming too? 😉
