Match Thread - Port Vale v Maldon and Tiptree (FA Cup)

So unless I’m missing something is this either 4-3-3 with Debrah or Cam at RB or is Hall playing RWB?

Nooooo  Waine is on the bench.  We know what that means.  He will be brought on before Stockley, Brown, Ojo or Curtis.

Like the team, except for how does Faal get in ahead of Stockley. In fact how does Faal get in ahead of me [emoji1787]

4-3-3? Not bad in theory but likely means Cole is wide?

Or maybe, just maybe he is a one trick pony, one club golfer, one tactic manager. We are in a spiral of decline and Moore just doesn't seem to have a clue how to break out of it. With such an expensively assembled squad he has got to be under pressure if this afternoon goes badly.

A spiral of decline after 2 poor games?

Imagine Deb or Cam RB

The starboy has been off honing his skills and ready to come back as our 20 goal hitman. Same again bartender!

If this means Cole is out wide then it's absolutely criminal.

Might be a 3-5-2 with Hall playing an attacking midfield role, like Garrity used to play.

Edit, just noticed Paton, Cole and Fall. Naff team selection IMO.

Double that….Northampton and Accrington were pretty awful.

Maybe it's just me and yes he can look clumsy but Faal is more mobile than Stockley and currently has more goals so i guess that will be why he gets in and he hasn't done to bad the last couple of times he has come on,only my opinion of course.

This team should be enough to see these off(easier said than done i know) but if we dont then something is wrong

The conditions for the Northampton game ensured it was never going to be a classic. The ref doubled down on that. Nothing to do with us being in a spiral. That game made it 4 unbeaten for us.

Looks a mess to me that. Cole and Paton stuffed out wide so that Faal can play. We have a winger in Curtis and had two more in Richards and Shorrock but now we’re back to playing players out of position. Not sure how Deb keeps his place after that horror show. Will be enough to beat these comfortably you’d of thought but not a great selection.

The owner is now posting about how great the stadium is!

Yep and including a Pizza Trophy game is more than a little disingenuous too unless people want to start crediting this team for beating up on Leeds U21’s (I don’t).
