Couldn’t agree more. Open and honest – it’s genuinely great to listen to.

Brady will ultimately be judged on what happens on the pitch, but it’s hard not to be taken in by him. So far he comes across as exactly the sort of character you’d want given where we are as a club.

The comments on Faal were interesting too. He tried to sign him when he was at Northampton but Wrexham beat them to it. Based on that interview, I can’t see Faal going anywhere this window.

I thought that was one of Faal best games for Vale.

He reminds me of when Vale signed uche on loan from Watford. Granted he's become a journeyman since but there must have been something for a championship club to sign him initially , I can't see faal even get close to that level right now but Wrexham must have seen a player in their somewhere to sign him

Gambian Peter Crouch is what they saw, IMO. You see bits of that when he’s playing well, but as he’s never really hit the ground running you just sense there is a ceiling with him. Wrexham’s quick rise up the leagues means they also can’t wait to see him develop into the best version of himself either.

I agree I thought it was one of Mo's best games for Vale.

Exactly Wrexham must have seen something in him to sign him from West Brom for £500k and tbh I think he will one of those players that gets better as he gets older as people forget that he is still only 22.

Or is he really? 😉

True.

Make sense when you see some of the players in league 1 and 2 coming from top academy's  like Liverpool , Chelsea etc but once they start hitting that adult age of 20+ the gap between the standards becomes clear.

This is what happened with Jayden when he was at Bournemouth as he missed out on first-team chances with them due to their rapid rise through the leagues and as a result he never got the chance to show what he could do with them so I suspect the same will happen with Mo. As Jayden said after he had signed for Aberdeen he always felt he was playing catch up with Bournemouth's successes and as a result just had to sit and watch promotion after promotion.

Faal is here to stay.

If you listen to Brady’s interview after the match on PVTV. Brady really likes him and tried to sign him for Northampton but lost out to money power of Wrexham

Vale fans are very quick to jump on young players. Players often don't really hit their peak until 22 - 25 and it often only lasts a few years before injury pushes them down the other side. Daryl Clarke made a point early in his tenure that the secret was signing players just as they were entering their two or three peak years. Faal has done quite well in two or three games. He's also been poor quite often. He scored 13 league 2 goal in 23/24, followed by a long injury. He's nowhere near as bad as some of his critics have said.

He definitely is as bad as most have said. Just because he put some effort in last night Dosent change the fact he’s been pretty rubbish all season. I’m not interested in what he did in league 2 in 2023 / 2024. I’m interest in what he offers now, and sadly that’s nothing.
I also keep seeing this argument peddled that because a club spent big money on him he clearly has something, just like Jordan slew then?

He’s not very good, he’s shown that all season and again, people seem to be forgetting we’re bottom and still have bloody Tolaj as our 3rd top scorer! Him and brown need sending back.

Based on his 3 (three) league starts, thanks for proving my point.

Faal is 23 next month. If Brady wants him, his fee will go up the better he plays. Early days for Brady yet.

What a breath of fresh air..

Brady when asked about Curtis said "if he doesn't want to be here he will be leaving"

Moore's response to the same question would be something like "Ronan is taking time out to be with his sisters pet Rabbit in Benidorm and he also felt a slight strain on his middle toe and so we will see where we are next week"

Or Paternity leave 3 months after the baby was born ( Ripley).

Curtis is a winger with no pace.

He can put a decent cross in sometimes.

Has a lot of passion.

Am 'indifferent' if he stays or goes.

I like Curtis but maybe that's because he battles etc and looked like he cared BUT going off what Brady said about how he doesn't want any player here who doesn't want to be here then its clear Curtis isn't up for the fight here and wants out

Now although you cant blame him i guess,he is part of the squad along with the ex manager that has put us in this position,so for me if he hasn't got the balls to stay and fight and help get us out of it then he can <ovf censored> off, sorry to be so blunt but i dont want anyone who doesn't want to play for the badge either and this is off someone who actually liked Curtis

I have to say if we are to play with wingers then i really liked the look of the lad Ennis last night,I thought he gave Clark the run around all night

On loan to them from Man Utd I think
