We have now become Plymouth’s feeder club. Lost our best two players to them and will inevitably go down as a result. Well done Vale.

Curtis was one of our best two players? Do better trolling next time

I agree it’s not the right time to bring him back at the position we currently find ourselves in. However, my Chester sporting mate states that Shorrock has played well whenever he’s played, but the problem is, the Chester managers son is their left back and he picks him over Shorrock! Find Shorrock a new lon club where he can get development minutes - he’s certainly one for the future he’s proved that already
I think this might be the problem, in that Chester are again picking him for a wing back role. He is not a defender and not suited to that position. Being totally wasted there. Bring him back or loaned to somewhere that will play him properly

Couldn’t agree more. Open and honest – it’s genuinely great to listen to.

Brady will ultimately be judged on what happens on the pitch, but it’s hard not to be taken in by him. So far he comes across as exactly the sort of character you’d want given where we are as a club.

The comments on Faal were interesting too. He tried to sign him when he was at Northampton but Wrexham beat them to it. Based on that interview, I can’t see Faal going anywhere this window.

I honestly dont mind Faal staying IF he now has the right manager in to improve him,I thought he looked a lot better last night tbf considering Brady has only had a day with them

In Brady we trust now

Yeah he should be called back immediately and sent somewhere else. He shouldn’t be playing in the 6th tier anyway. Plenty of EFL experience at his age he should be NL at worst. Almost feels we sent him to the first place that asked without any thought to if it was a good move for him.

To be fair,Tolaj hasn't done too badly :)

As for Curtis, this one will almost certainly be down to our new DoF, Derek Adams. When he was our manager, we had plenty of tussles with Portsmouth and Curtis was always a pest against us. We are so stupidly reliant on Tolaj for goals that we're targeting wingers/attacking midfielders with goalscoring records - and Curtis is almost 1 in 4 across his career so on that data alone he's an obvious pick-up for us.

From your perspective, this presumably frees up a decent wedge for Brady to bring someone else in to put his own stamp on the side. Based on your last two results you've definitely still got some hope to cling onto that you can get out of trouble and I hope you do. Most Argyle fans have a soft spot for Vale after our title win at your place - we obviously have very fond memories of that day and how welcoming you all were.

Plus we hate Stoke.

Imagine the disarray if at the end of the season we stayed up and (very unlikely I know) they got relegated. I mean you never know stranger things have happened before.

As usual I got pelted on here when I questioned the move back in the summer. Was obvious he should have either been a squad player given our injury prone wing backs and lack of wingers, or sent on loan to a league 2 side. Sending a player of his quality to Chester was a terrible decision and has probably hampered his development

If you were a member of the Plymouth management team last night i.e. Tom Cleverley, Derek Adams etc and you saw this interview from the manager slating the attitude of the player that you are about to sign surely you would have second thoughts about signing him and think is it wise to continue with the move or pursue other targets instead. I mean if you were also a Plymouth fan last night listening to that interview as well you would get massive 🚩 vibes from it and go yeah do we want to sign a player whose attitude might be questionable and that he might cause issues etc. I mean they know they have signed him now but that has got to be somewhat of a concern.

He wasn’t questioning his attitude. A club has come in for him, hes obviously told Brady that he wanted to talk to them and ultimately leave. That’s nothing to do with attitude, it’s a player having his head turned.

Brady’s saying the right thing, if Curtis wanted to leave then why would he try and persuade him to stay. In many ways I don’t blame Curtis for leaving, he’s hardly got going here and can anyone really say he’s a big loss? I can’t. Probably got himself a pay rise too.

Tbh I reckon the move was already lined up before Brady had even come to the club but we certainly want players who are up for the fight and want to do everything they can to help us maintain our L1 status next season. We don't need ones who don't want to want to be at the club.

Could well have been already lined up. Pretty certain that players talk to each other that they know at other clubs and would possibly already know of potential interest. We’ve done the right thing. He wants to go, we’ve got money for him, we’ve got rid and freed up space in the squad. Personally I don’t think we can say he’s been a disruptive player though.

Decent for us in League Two and some great memories with match winning moments like Morecambe and Notts late on but he kind of drifted out the team late season and never did much in League One, out of position at times but even up front did little.

Wish him well, thank him for the memories but it’s not the level of the Tolaj loss and if a player doesn’t want to be with us then off you go.

Strange signing for Argyle that one.

No wouldn’t say disruptive. I think Brady is looking at it as he needs everyone to be fully committed to the cause and if this is going to become an issue down the line better to cut the cord now.

When DM was here especially last season I got the vibe he wasn’t overly keen on the little group of Ruari, Ronan and Chiz. I have the (maybe baseless) theory that’s why he loaned out Ruari to Dundee Utd last season to break it up.

Will mean nothing mate in the modern game.

Personally I reckon the move was already lined up when DM was still in charge. We have done the right thing though as he clearly didn't want to be at the club so as a result we've got rid, freed up space in the squad and I imagine he was on a reasonably good wage as well so it will free up some of the wage budget. No he's not been a disruptive player but we don't need players who don't want to be at the club and Ronan clearly didn't want to be at the club any more which is fair enough.

Have often championed Curtis. Been criminally under used by Moore.

However he can p**s off. Come out with the statement he's wasted 2 years of his career in his Plymouth interview.

Odd statement seeing as he was diving into the fans at Wimbledon.

Real shame that they have already visited Vale.

Good riddance, hopefully he'll end up with splinters sat on their bench.

Also nice to make a profit on someone we got for nothing.
