Match Thread: Reading v Port Vale

Featured Replies

You'd assume that Paton, Shorrock, Hart and Lomax will be offered out on loan.

Rico will get games, at least from the bench, but the middle is so congested it's hard to see a path right now.

Sign of the times. Happy with the line up but still wondering where certain players are. We have a good squad. Now time to get our league form off the ground hopefully with a good beating of Reading .

So Connor Hall is currently running between cones on the touchline.

Looks like a good old fashioned fitness test.

I guarantee you that nobody will be interested in Garrity and Hall. If their is interest, it will be from League 2

Certainly with Hall I reckon any interest would be limited to L2. Being completely lazy the obvious options would be Croz at Tranmere and DC at Rovers. Garrity is a bit more difficult as the big knock on him (and it isn’t unjustified) is his availability.

I’d be inclined to agree, nevertheless we could receive offers too good to turn down.

Who doesn’t want players with 2 promotions on the CV out of L2.

Where is Gabriel?

Anyway, looks a strong 11 and bench which is all we can ask for.

I think Shorrock and Paton will stay then reassess in Jan window.

Garrity injured again ?

He's also no longer a guaranteed starter. That's just how it is when you have a much stronger squad.

I reckon Garrity is just being eased back in, no need to rush when we have other good options.

Shouldnt say this, as I absolutely love "Mr Port Vale" to bits and hope he stays here forever after his career finishes, but I cant see Ben Garrity getting in our midfield if everyone is fit 🙈🙈 no reflection on any lack of ability on BGs part, but more a reflection of the strength of the other midfielder's

Stoke gate attendance says over 35,000 on the bbc website

While no one is guaranteed, I would disagree with that to an extent. He wouldn't be main captain if that's the case

He also came off a massive injury not too long ago so probably being rested here ans there until he's 100% fit

A 100% garrity gets in most league 1 sides for me

Paton come on why aint he being given a chance .

Gutted for the kid he links the game so well and no Garrity on bench he scores goals.

Other than that and no hall its a good  side .

3 points today i predict

That's because every lardie fan needs two seats per cheek

Obviously a misprint as it does not hold 35,000
