League one 25/26 Season

It's quite odd how there hasn't been a single draw in any of the opening L1 matches.

Re the Barnsley fans post, I dont think any real football fan will be laughing at the Morecombe/SWFC situations - esp fans of clubs like ours. I grew up watching dozens of semi-finals at Hillsborough, one of the most impressive and imposing grounds I ever went to as a youngen, and it makes my soul cry when I think of their predicament at present

So, heres hoping they both pull through, and im with Splodge in raising a glass of the dark stuff to Auntie Carol 👏👏👏👏👏

Usually go mid June every year for a couple of weeks and the beaches are quite empty. Town can get busy with folks from USA. I like to play Bodhran Drum in Oflahertys! 🥁

Of the 12 games so far the lowest crowd was as expected at Burton 5170.

Next lowest was Doncaster with 8688.

So some really decent crowds in this division regardless of the fact it was the opening day.

If we average 7500 at home this season then that will be roughly 6 or 7 lowest home average in the division.

Evening all

Does anyone know, roughly, how many ticket allocation Wigan give away teams...??

My kids don't live a million miles away from Wigan and Mrs OSH and I are thinking of going up for the weekend and watching the Vale while there.

However, being an exile down South, I doubt I'd have enough points (ever) to get a first tranche of the ticket allocation.

Any help appreciated

They will give us a lot - the away end is huge and they nowhere near sell out so you'll be rayt. There's a decent bar under the stand called the Marquee or something like that for away fans which has sky sports on before the game too.

Ta m8. Perfect.

Been a long time since I last went Wigan - in fact it was their old place - very windswept place as I recall.

Been flicking between the early games on Sky (Posh v Luton and Reading v Huddersfield) and it hasn't been great. Especially the game at Reading where its been a lot of sideways and backwards stuff with little to nothing worthwhile in the final third.

League two, but Shrewsbury will be going straight down again I reckon

Does look like Smudge had a nice start to life with Tranmere on the other side of the coin. Looks like Sang was a second half sub for Shrews.

Some really low quality in this Posh-Luton game. Think Posh are going to struggle. Huddersfield now in front at Reading.

Crosby's Tranmere are now 3-0 up but it's been a very clumsy standard. Watching it for Smith.

I enjoyed the first half of Soton Wrexham earlier, could have easily been 3-3 at HT.

Luton just scored one of the most comical goals I've seen (probably since Vales relegation season). Posh messing around at the back, keeper couldn't control a backpass and gave the ball to the Luton player to score from 5 yards out. Not great.
