League one 25/26 Season

Featured Replies

Looking at our league .

Huddersfield started strongly 2 good wins .

Stevenage 2 wins also

Surprised at how poorly Wycombe started /Blackpool bought very good players yet have started poorly .

Vale started well in terms of performance and it bodes well .

Not concerned at all theres everything play for in all games and with what im seeing and this is without Garrity /Gabriel whos a baller, and Paton who i feel will score a fair few in this league .

Always look at Championship ,seems weaker than ever, but it will be competitive and if teams have 5 or 6 not at it you will lose

Wrexham /Birmingham are not a threat to top 7 .

Sheffield Utd conceding 4 at home first game  8well you dont replace a winner in Wilder with a bloke who managed Hull

Sheffield Wed virtually relegated without kicking a ball you cannot expect anything other .

Hull in dire straits also .

I dont see anyone running away with it .

Millwall have players who run there hearts out

Stoke have a player who comes off and doesnt shake the managers hand ,and looked angry as, yet the substitution won them the game so that suggest to me they have big egos in changing room great if winning if losing a nightmare of a player deal with .

Think they finish 7th as Nzonzi is the key to how they do  surely there long suffering fans lower finishing championship side should deliver a much higher placed finish than there normal what is it 14th to 17th

Still think teams can outbattle them and they will  succumb

I’ve seen that Wednesday fans are organising a tennis ball protest and a pitch invasion against Stoke next week.

Clearly Reading’s slap on the wrists when their fans got their match abandoned against us hasn’t discouraged them.

Shame they cant chuck genades!😇

AI is getting ridiculous.....Robins has never smiled that much in his life!

Probably because of our small points return so far, odds at William Hill on Vale finishing top half have eased out from the 3/1 which I took pre-season to 4/1 now.

So I added a little to my total bets at the new odds.

Nothing extravagant, just a nice little tickle if it comes in.

I watched from 60 mins onwards and it was a controlled victory. Heneghan headed everything away,Waine ran his socks off,Marosi had nothing to do,and Shipley used the ball well. Gordon showed up well on the left and Croasdale does what Croasdale does.

I know it's early doors but out of contract players after this season are as follows...

Amos,Davies, Jesse, Heneghan,Hall,Hart,Clark

Ojo,Garrity,Stockley.

I think the club have been quite astute in getting a nucleus of experience and adaptability. Last night, when a player came off,a sub went on the same position. Even when Faal came on,Shipley took up a position on the left,Croasdale and Shipley pushed up a little and the wingbacks still played high up.

Lots to be pleased with

Don’t worry. It’s Stoke. Game will be abandoned and they will get 3 points.

I know it's nothing to do with EFL1 but it's great to see Morecambe seem to have sorted themselves out and they'll be kicking off their first game on 23rd August.

There's but for the grace of Carol and Kevin go us...

Is that a photo of the Open Top Bus tour for being top of the league in August ?

Watching Bolton v Reading and it’s not just us who seem incapable of punishing teams when we are dominant. Bolton been exactly the same, should be leading by far more than 1-0 and we saw how that turned out for us last night.

And there we go Reading with a very undeserved equaliser.

Yep, Bolton have just done exactly the same as us conceded and I have just checked the stats Bolton have had 19 attempts 3 on target Reading have had 4 attempts 2 on target.

Seems like it's happening to a few teams at the moment.
