Summer transfer rumours and speculation

Wonder if John could be our RCH answer in time. Comfortable on the ball, inexperienced but I think it's a possibility as well as wing back cover

Great business so far .

Clark and John no brainers really, good at total positive with ball at there feet and good at recovery and reading the game

Gabriel also

Good stuff

A New Vale ok last year was overall excellent but nice going into league 1 with better mental capacity (the players that is and overall better footballers ).

Fantastic

Great signing that, done brilliantly to get the 3rd year option. Well done Vale.

It's also nice knowing that players want to stay at Vale I remember in the past we have offered contracts to players out of contract and they have sought pastures new now it's done on our terms with players not thinking twice aslong as the offer is right.

I think this also shows that we offer players with potential long contracts to hopefully cash in at some point, you might expect Debrah to sign similar at his age if he wants to stay that long of course, yes he needs some work he is getting better imo though and who better than DM to teach him,he is also a defender with pace which is a massive bonus

Hopefully we can bring two or three more trialists in released from Premier Academies this pre season in the hope we can uncover the next Kyle John

Feels good that keeping players is a good thing now rather than the good thing being players leaving.

You know what I mean.

Funnily enough my son and I were having this discussion last night, where would John play and both came to the conclusion he would be better at RCB and backup WB.

I think you will be hard pressed to find a better group of WB’s in L1 than our squad.

Perhaps we don’t the best RWB or LWB player in the league but the overall position strength is outstanding.

Defensively now I think we just need a CB and someone who can play LCB(maybe a loan to cover Hall) and then we are done there

"He doesn't just "follow the Vale" though, he sits outside the training ground, spots someone who might be bringing out a spare pair of boots and thinks its a new signing." - so????

Then he goes on social media, talks an absolute load of <ovf censored>, people believe him (because they're just as gullible), then have a go at the club because they haven't signed whoever this week's lunatic rumour is. - That happens without his input!!

Then he goes on other club's accounts and League Two banter pages waffling on about how Port Vale, are the best team in the country and well win the league by 50 points etc. again - so???

I know there are stories about how he tried to follow players into the dressing room after training so he could take photos of triallusts and stick them online. that's probably a bit too far - but does he back off if told to?

I'm not saying anymore because its off topic, but the bloke is quite clearly crackers, and needs to wind his neck in. - I don't think that's his problem? Takes all sorts, and you only have to follow this Forum for a while to know we have some...actual...unsavoury characters on here!

Sorry, Granville - he's just a bit overly zealous Vale!

Lay off Gareth.

He used to talk on his social media about some of the issues he's faced in his life and how he's overcome them.

If sitting outside Vale Park and making up rumours gets him through the day, then crack on son.

All Vale, aren't we?

I wonder, sometimes, JoeB2?
