Come on Vale - score early and score often! 🙂

That is the point - score often as the defence will go sleep and allow them to score no doubt.

Come on Vale.  DM has said the shackles are off today and they can attack.  Go for it and pressure them.

Surprised no Tom Sang on the bench, considering that he can cover a multitude of positions. He’s unlucky not to be replacing Jesse.

We may well regret not including Sang at RCB. None of our back three can play the ball out so we’re either going to have hoof ball or Byers so deep starting play from defence that it will impact on our forward play. And no one can replace Sang’s crossing ability.

Come on Vale.

3 points needed.  Go and get them please.

Also find it very bizarre Chislett been bombed out. Don’t get me wrong, he’s been crap this season. But I’d much rather have him as an option than Umolu.

The impact on player morale and squad cohesion is very damaging. All season, DM has played young inexperienced loan players ahead of seasoned pro’s with a track record of achievement higher than L2. Thinking particularly of Curtis, Chislett and Paton and Tolaj out of position for half the season.

I just can’t see why he does this and if we fail to be promoted, much of which would be because of our lack of goals, DM will have some explaining to do. Goodness knows how he justifies it to the players.

Good chance early on.

Keep it going lads!

We've started quite brightly.  Nice to be back on grass.

Can't fault our attacking intent - just need the early Vale goal.

Tolaj is wasted playing the inside forward role. Started well though the Vale!

As you say - need that first goal and that is hard to get at the moment for the Vale players.

We create chances and it just doesn't happen in the box.  Need to take these chances.

Come on Vale.

Yeah would rather him up along Stockley then Curtis behind.

Not too bad so far though. Walters had some nice touches on the ball again.

Tolaj back to being wasted now Stockley is back. We’re missing someone like Chislett or Garrity here, midfield are way too deep and not supporting
