It really depends who else might bid. Newton is a long way down my trust list, wasn't impressed at all and now he has done an early exit routine at Oldham, even less so. However, if it is Newton or nothing, then it is a very reluctant nod.

Oldham have started this season badly and were hanging on just above relegation last season. They need someone to come in and give them more direction and perhaps some new investment. If he can't be involved to the extent needed perhaps he has stood aside - and lets face it that is what should have happened at Port Vale to arrest the decline earlier.

That's twice he's jumped ship at Oldham so i wouldn't want him near the Vale,he's full of shyite like a lot more Yanks and i think we've had enough of America's finest over the artificial grass fiasco's and this countries fattest ex pat Miller.As far as i'm concerned those the club were dealing with are dirty words and shouldn't be spoken in context with the Vale and good ole Hank pulled the plug on the Yeovil deal Yankee doodle con men are best avoided.
