Players like Mitch Clark, Kyle John, George Byers, Connor Grant, Nathan Smith, Tolaj etc all need some game time. I expect a few of these to play along with the likes of Shorrock too. Agreed it’s a night for those names listed to be honest. I could maybe see someone like Agnero from the academy being on the bench though. Seems very highly rated within the club it seems. Other than the only one can think of is Brazier?

Yeah possibly mate 👍🏻 I don’t think we should be playing all our academy though which it seems someone is implying. A good mixture & balance of some of those mentioned above & a couple of the kids I’d be fine with

Not tonight I agree mate. Ordinarily stick the academy kids in and whatever happens happens is my usual line in this cup but tonight it’s an opportunity to treat it as a competitive bounce game for all who need minutes. If DM wants to use tonight to try say 4-2-3-1 or 4-1-3-2 etc then be my guest as not bothered about the result.

How many would we take to Wembley for this crap. Less than 8k is my guess. I still have no idea why people any interest in what is now the equivalent of The Pontins League. It's a run out at best.

Different trophy then. First time at Wembley and no u21s ruining it. I reckon we’d take about 10,000, depending on who we’d play. I’d definitely go as I love our trips to Wembley but I think many others wouldn’t bother for this cup.

Agreed. No way 25k would go nowadays but I still think we’d be well supported. It’s a day out at Wembley nonetheless & like yourself I’d be there. That wet day in Cardiff seems a long time ago now 

A trip to Wembley would be an opportunity for us to see the team we all support win a cup, why wouldn't you want to go?!

I applaud anyone going to these games tonight especially in these conditions with Christmas round the corner and the fact you can watch these game on the firesticks nowadays. I'm currently out working in Yorkshire and it's absolutely baltic 

 

 

Whatever team DM puts out tonight some fans wont be happy but despite this competition meaning nothing to some it does actually bring in a little bit of money(more than we made in last seasons EFL cup run anyway),for me i think it's a game we have to try and win just to give the players faltering confidence a boost going into Saturdays game.

We need to get back to winning ways somehow

My princess has been into Vale Park this afternoon with her school to sing. They were suprised by the players & a goodie bag 😊 New scarf, signature book & a couple of ✍️ Some club this 💙 The gaffer is gonna think she’s stalking him! UTV
