How about it?

 

Lets get as many in VP as possible. Il be over for it. We got roughly 5500 last year against Crawley.

Lets get those doubters back in VP for the first home game.

 

I dont think that 7000 is unrealistic and if we can spread the word that the club NEEDS its fans at a time like this we can really kickstart our season and bring some much needed cash through the turnstiles.

Great idea, but to make that figure I would think all these things need to happen:-

 

- KR deal finalised (can we hope tomorrow?) or Plan B completed (almost impossible)

- Reduced admission to boost the gate (even £3 or £5 off would help a lot)

- All new signings can play (and maybe more new players)

- Reasonable result v Burnley

- No new horror stories / shocks

The club needs its supporters right now. For one game only at least, lets forget all our differences, forget our worries, forget that we think its too expensive and get in that stadium and make a statement.

I'll go with it, but it isn't me that needs convincing. The club does need full support, and the price thing I mentioned was not to detract from your target, but to try and help it.

The other point I would make is that it is a second home game in 5 days (after the League Cup game) and all those going to the Burnley game will be paying entrance not using season ticket, so a few might choose to go to one game or the other.

If things go well with KR tuesday the sense of relief may well be so great that the 7000 could be acheivable.

Id make the point that actually its a second home game in 3 and a half months and if people cannot put out for the club they love at this time then i doubt they will ever do.
