But why cant it be though? One phone call to his bank, one or two telegraphic transfers later, funds with begbies before dinner time. No personal issues should stop this. I think everyone wants to believe that this deal will happen and based on the info given last night they are more positive but is this just blind faith? As I've commented on the SC meeting thread, no problems should stop all lines of communication, doesn't he even have a PA who could have let BY or Pete Williams know of his problems? I hope I'm wrong but I think its just another lame excuse to cover the real underlying problem.

They need to be putting all their energy into dealing the offer from the new bidders now, as it's likely it's just another deadline that will be missed.
