Our Situation could be much worse....

I know we all are so frustrated about these times at the vale. Takeover, shirt sponsor, administration, signings etc etc!!! It is tough, very tough. However, at least we have light at the end of our tunnel (a bit!), whereas rangers and portsmouth, to put it simply: are screwed! Also, if you dunna care about other clubs financial crisis', think about the people in syria, the suffering, the war, the lack of aid, the lack of food, the poverty etc. It is a terrible situation at the moment for them. I know the times are tough at the vale, however we could, slightly, feel a tiny tiny bit grateful that we are not in a situation like Rangers or Portsmouth, and that we are majorly blessed in being able to live in a country like ours - (in comparison with syria!)

I know you all probably do have strong feeling for these matters, i just wanted to start a new thread with something a bit different, not Keith Ryder, Bob Young, Takeover orientated! Also, i just wanted everyone to have a couple of minutes of not worrying or getting angry or fed up about our situation! People may find this pointless, but it is just a thought!

:-)

I suppose the flip side is... yes, things could be a lot worse, but shouldn't they also be a lot better? Again, just a thought, no dig intended.

Rangers will be back- no doubt about it. Portsmouth alraedy have a plan B ready, starting again as a non- league club I understand. Vale on the other hand.........

Do we really need start thinking of a Portsmouth plan B now, not inforcing it but preparing it, finding somewhere play etc. Darlington have also started again.

If we finish third in the shambles of a club league, will we get in to Europe?

You've sussed it, join the euro and we can apply for a bailout. Genius. (no malice meant).

Seriously ,they are in better positions than us. Believe TBH at pompey has agreed this morning to leave, from pompey fan.

Just 2 to go and they should be clear, for the next hurdle Supporters Trust or some other guy Chi..... from Cyprus. We are not in a good place fact.

You can have the No 9 shirt......be prepared for a lashing tho, as we always give our strikers stick....new Vale or Not

Fogsey CEO for me.......talk bull**** for a few years......do no actual work.....sit comfy in the box at every game......take home a steady wedge......then wen it all goes down hill....move on to the next club.....with no responsibility or come back!!

Quote from Bob Young in today's Sentinel:

"Some people will be worrying there will be no club to support before a deal is completed, but I am determined not to allow that to happen.

"I can't absolutely guarantee it, but I'm expecting a deal to be done, one way or the other, within the next two weeks.

"There is definitely enough money to allow the club to run for another two weeks, but we will not allow it to go on indefinitely.

"If something is not sorted out soon, we might have some hard decisions to make."

That is extinction talk. How can it be much worse than that?

I find it totally bizzare that after submitting everything asked and the admin and football league have stalled. Keith Ryder said confidently that once everything had been signed that the money was ready. Whats the holdup now if the money has already been waiting to settle Vale's problems. It just seems that whenever there's a bit of hope that it soon succumbs to nothing.. How much more do we have to go through to ensure that our beloved Vale gets back to being a functional club???????
