Until an announcement is made, it would be helpful if some Vale fans who seem to think they are suffering from the delays more than the rest of us would refrain from telephoning and emailing the Football League, as there is a considerable risk that the FL will get as p*ssed off with them as many of the rest of us are and actually delay the thing.

At the very least the FL are not going to be working on Vale's needs whilst having to answer ridiculous e-mails and phone calls from so-called Vale fans who sometimes seem to think they speak for every Vale fan and try to appoint themselves as some kind of Vale fan spokesperson. The only people who should be contacting the FL are those running things at Vale Park.

There is only one person who knows when the deal will be done..and thats Nick Craig! Now unless anyone knows his number or that of the hotel he is staying in, then no-one, not even the Lord above could know when this deal will be done! Drink some tea/coffee/water/beer whatever is your choice of poison, put your feet up, talk to the missus, watch corrie, go to work do whatever to fill your time, and just forget this whole saga until KR comes out and says he owns the club.

Somebody on Facebook says that the neon sign outside Radio Stoke had a message saying that Football League officials were at Vale today.. Can anybody clarify this?

Definately not aimed at you, and apologies if anyone thought you were one of the guilty parties, I just quoted the last post and it would have been better to reply without a quote.

I still think the gobby ones should lay low and not pester the FL for now, why not while away a few hours having a look at

5.30 pm on Friday to say there are still a couple of things which need to be clarified, but they are confident the takeover should be completed early next week
