T20 Cricket World Cup

Well at least that's removed the permitation of Australia taking their time to knock off runs if they were batting 2nd against Scotland and only needed a modest total.  A straight win(if Scotland lose) does the job now I believe.

I follow associate cricket quite closely and didn't think Oman would have the game to get near England unless we were severely off it but I didn't expect 47 and done in just over 3 overs. Just shows the gulf in class when a full member nation plays well against an associate team.

England's net runrate can actually drop by the way even with a win against Nepal. I just get the feeling Australia want England out the tournament so will rest 4 players and put in a half arsed display against Scotland and lose.

Beating Nepal won't do England any good, they're not even in the same group.

Still can’t see them getting close to the Ausies. They will want momentum. As long as it Dosent rain, I think we’re through

The USA now officially in the Super 8’s after the Ireland game was rained off. Great achievement for them regardless. Will never catch on as a popular sport there but any success they have won’t hurt the game there.

Expect all things being equal England will go through. Still fancy South Africa. They’ve had some close shaves in this tournament so far but they now have the habit of winning them sort of games so that will can only help them as they get closer to the end of it.
