Tickets - season tickets, loyalty points, matchday tickets etc

Very rarely do any clubs in L2 pay for a player; its the wages on offer to attract good players that I'm talking about.
He knew that.

Not exactly.

The way the club has performed recently has convinced me that I will not buy a season ticket until I see good reason to, potentially at which point would be far more expensive than blindly buying one at the early bird offer. I’ve done this the last few seasons (season ticket purchased before actually seeing what kind of squad we have) and I will not be doing it again.

Your choice mate not to take advantage of the cheaper price. Can’t blame the club for that.

So far the first major moan of the closed season is ST prices and the solution according to the ones moaning most are:

1. Reduce the price, despite ST sales being by far our main source of income.
2. Spend big before those floating will commit with no guarantee that they will.
3. Have a single price for STs on account it unfairly penalises those who haven't saved over the past 12 months knowing when STs will go on sale.
4. Let fans have a ST and then pay when they want (that ones a belter).

And some of you want the fans to have more say in running the club? [emoji1787]

I don't want the fans to have more say in running the club but after watching disappointing football for the last two seasons the club has to anticipate a reluctance to commit to a season ticket.

Sorry but the club needs to show some serious intent! Or we will loose many of the extra 3k fans we have gained. Sad but true!

July 30th/31st end of the 2nd payment phase.

Incredible. So you’ve got the choice of paying early if you’re desperate to get one cheap, but if you want a specific seat somewhere then you’ll end up paying full whack!

The other issue I have with the ST price windows as well is coordinating with friends to get the seats closer together. It doesn’t help the way they’ve done it IMO, 350 a lot for many. And at presumably 20+ POTG, attendances really will suffer.

No because if you want a specific seat you can pay now at cheapest rate.

If you haven't taken up the option at the end of July the seat will be released.

Right - misunderstood. Thanks 🙂

Our usual policy of signing players just before the season starts isnt going to start a scramble for season tickets. If the club wants to build a buzz then early signings with a Wow factor is whats required.

Bill had good intentions for the club, ambition and focus clearly committed to the football side.
The shares issue was well after fans had worn him down. The club position deterioted had it not I'm sure everyone eod have their fair share.
End of the day the club stayed in business yes just but he steered the clun through a very difficult time and let's remember the season tickets in one season were dirt cheap. Money had to be made somewhere. You can't please everybody
Brings back memories of Jackson, Bratty's lapdog Mudie and of course the biggest of the lot Glenda Oliver he was always posting on here...what ever happened to them? not seen them for years, not that I want to.

I have blindly parted with my money since Carol took over, paying when there was no chance of attending. Sorry after two years of absolute dross I would like to see some serious intent from the club regarding recruitment before I commit again.

We all have I'm in the same boat and I've generally bought one last two seasons because of Carol /Clark first season because he was so honest in what he sees /last season mainly Carol not so much Crosby although you could see the team had a way of playing under Crosby just needed better players to do it because at times it was working it stopped working when players were recalled and the remaining ones were error ridden

Think the beginning of end for AC was leaving Arblaster on bench v Cheltenham, and us being absolutely rubbish, apart from still being in league cup glossed over the lack of entertainment, some really poor performances,  but also sum really good ones aswell where we scored goals ,we played well at times but since Charlton home game only played reasonably well for about 5 half's, and you think what the hell am I doing here staring at a wall be more exciting under Moore mainly.

Anyway gone now relegated without a fight which didn't sit well with me ,people who work generally have to give it there all daily or they be out of a job its as simple as that  as always someone who can take mainly anyones position in life .

So when season ticket time comes round which it has done I have to weigh up what's in it for me .

This is where I want see who actually wants /doesn't want play for the supporters.

Anyone can say it you have to show it .

Like me saying I could run a London marathon I couldn't run to the bus stop around the corner.

Talk is cheap action's speak louder than words .

I'm quite happy give Vale 335 quid plus buy a few tops yearly and spend more in ground on half time number's draw.

I want see the right people representing us though .

A fool is easily parted from his money .

Huddersfield season tickets  are 249.

Vale need to keep prices relatively high to attract better players, and move on ones who have done there best ,but just not quite good enough if they do theres no reason why Vale 2024/25 cannot rise to acceptability again and give the Vale a good name again .

Bill Bell wasn't 100% honest if I recall... Always hands in the biccy tin.

But then V2001 did what they had to do. It became personal and the attacks on Bill were sad. Some other members may have not done themselves any favour's.

Look at the interview BB gave to Staffs live... I really do feel for the bloke.

We weren't discussing Bill Bell 🙄

I think you must be the only one Mr Bratt did please. He was the man remember who brought Harlequin to the club, a company whose owner is now serving 12 years in prison for a £226 million fraud.
