Tickets - season tickets, loyalty points, matchday tickets etc

Featured Replies

I realise this has become the Bill Bratt thread but Huddersfield adult season tickets for all parts of the ground are £299.

Tranmere are £396.

Bradford City who usually give season tickets away with a box of sugar puffs are actually £349 this season.

Will I still be able to go to club shop and purchase a early bird senior season ticket or only on ticket master and will there be a booking fee .

Simply go into the club shop mate as per screenshot.

I've spoken to them and not on sale until June 1st.

Understandable mate. I was going to have a stroll up tomorrow morning but thought I'd ring to save a wasted journey. So the lad I spoke to says June 1st available on line and in the shop.

Brian, I can assure you it is not Bill Bratt, he is a friend of Bill Bratt, he used to turn up at shareholders meetings to, ,  support Bill, he hadn't got shares himself which was about normal for any board members friends, killerrevenge44 at the time came from Trentham, he always turned up with Bill, and left with him, I  can remember him on one occasion, leaving the meeting early to scrape the frost off Bill's car for a quick getterway.

I know it’s not Bill Bratt. It’s all tongue in cheek.
Thank you for further info on @Killersrevenge44 though. The net is closing in on who he actually is

I read Huddersfield are actually £249 for all parts, unchanged from this season.

But with average attendances above 19,000, that's still a relative fortune.

Even though I have "Killersrevenge44" on block, I keep seeing his posts because other people quote them.

It could hardly be more obvious that he is either -

  1. Someone formerly involved with running Vale who now has a big axe to grind and so is trying to make the current management of the club fail

  2. A S***e supporter simulating being someone formerly involved with running Vale who now has a big axe to grind and so is trying to make the current management of the club fail

I don't understand why people dignify his continual stream of sewage by even reading it, let alone engaging with it?

And we were getting on so well!

Brian,

I've seen your assertions to that effect, but wonder if you have any evidence to confirm that?

Please feel free to PM me if you prefer not to post it on the forum.

I suspect you are very close to the owner indeed.

It's up to supporters when they wish to buy season tickets.. They don't need to be judged because they want to see what players come in... That is a supporters perogative.

The point I am making is that the price shouldn't increase. It is unfair and potentially disenfranchised fans from attending

Making excuses????

Have you seen how many clubs break even in the EFL? It’s less than 5%.

It’s the financial reality of football.

The club has not been making money and is propped up be the owners.

We need to get in the 5% club overtime which is for the owners to try and achieve. You also have to bear in mind the club was a complete shell when Smurf completely stripped the assets and ran down the club so it’s going to take a period of significant CAPEX investment to stabilise which the club have done.

You don't achieve any percentage by making Season tickets unaffordable.

Huddersfield tickets less than 300 quid league one.

It's not unfair at all. Life is unfair.

My weekly food shop and petrol keep going up.

As many others have alluded to, this happens every single May. It's not a great shock. You take stock of whether you can afford it or you budget accordingly in anticipation.

Just seems to me another stick to knock the club with. I'll moan and complain with the best but I'm sorry this season ticket gripe is a non starter. Buy earlier you get it cheaper. Its not alienating fans or favouring people with deeper pockets.

Every May the club announce the deals. I understand people being undecided, that's a different issue.

But value for money we are more than comparable and better than many clubs in our division.

Huddersfield is a ridiculous comparison. Lard are probably cheaper than ours and they get free away travel.

Could always defect to them and see better football and away grounds for the ticket price only ?

OK let's use your analogy.

Either save up or do without.

Then what?

An extra 2,000 fans at bare minimum are being disenfranchised that is £670.000 lost right there.

Make it affordable for all and make Vale park the 12th man... All the way to the Premiership.

If Barnsley and Luton can do it so can Vale.

The club survived. Credit where it's due.

The way Bill was treated is never talked about. He ran the football club in a way it should be ran, not like a corporation

I fully appreciate that you’re on a wind up but have to say if you’re saying Bratt ran the club well the facts don’t seem to back that up.

One of the biggest problems facing our current owners was putting right decades of off the field neglect.
