Wonders why people think he's a WUM, yet in the same post comes out with these absolute whoppers. Fan of a proven liar, a bloke that nearly destroyed the club. Don't come on here and pretend to be a Vale fan and make comments like that. No Vale fan would ever support that scumbag.

Bill had good intentions for the club, ambition and focus clearly committed to the football side.

The shares issue was well after fans had worn him down. The club position deterioted had it not I'm sure everyone eod have their fair share.

End of the day the club stayed in business yes just but he steered the clun through a very difficult time and let's remember the season tickets in one season were dirt cheap. Money had to be made somewhere. You can't please everybody

£335 for a season ticket seems very reasonable. £14 a game. What did people expect? I think it represents decent value.

The cost of everything else has gone up so much in the last 18 months. Aren’t these prices pretty much the same?

For context, I took my family of 4 out to dinner last week. Was £150.

i took my wife the theatre 2 weeks ago. Was £90 per ticket. And £8 a pint

You lost me when you said Bill Bratt was a decent honest man 🤔

Bill Bell wasn't 100% honest if I recall... Always hands in the biccy tin.

But then V2001 did what they had to do. It became personal and the attacks on Bill were sad. Some other members may have not done themselves any favour's.

Look at the interview BB gave to Staffs live... I really do feel for the bloke.

It doesn't stay at that price though does it.

If anything, there should be a facility to pay a deposit on May prices and installments.

However if that was the case then why increase the price in the following months. The accounts pointed to losses so this policy doesn't make sense at all.

If you want a season ticket, at what point in the year did you expect to pay for it?

When you could afford it?

Some fans can't just pick £335 out of their pocket or is everyone loaded!

Nobody is just asking them to pick it out of their pocket. Season ticket money is due around the same time every year.

It’s like budgeting for Christmas. It’s the same time every year. You put money aside so you can afford it.

Some people in the area might be out of work, now unless I'm missing something how can people budget if they have no income.

The demographics status of the immediate Port Vale catchment area isn't exclusive to just people earning 30k or more

Funnily enough I've been going through my old cheque books and I found a stub from 19 years ago for my season ticket.

22/04/2005 Port Vale Football Club £272.00

Relative to back then, £335 isn't that bad I suppose.

Loads going on.

TBF Cheltenham and other clubs in that region have higher wages and increases the further you get towards London

This area remains well behind National average wages. Unless of course you work away or have such a decent job that you can travel a few miles there and back.

Generally, whether we like it or not, Stoke is a deprived area, even admitted on TV by our illustrious owner!!

We're shafted then. Deprived area, low wages, therefore low season ticket prices & less income, less budget, poorer players, poorer team, more fans like you moaning about prices and so it goes on.

I have blindly parted with my money since Carol took over, paying when there was no chance of attending. Sorry after two years of absolute dross I would like to see some serious intent from the club regarding recruitment before I commit again.
