Clubs were not properly consulted. According to Andy Holt, clubs had to vote before seeing how it would actually work.

So I blame Rick Parry and the EFL.

Here's an Athletic article that breaks it all down:

How many times do we have “clubs were not properly consulted”?

Something has to change. Or the mentality of the clubs has to change.

I pointed this out late last season. I could see then our game was changing in the lower leagues.

Port Vale Footbal Club and The Shanahans may not want to hear this in the public domain, but I think I’m a clever enough guy to say there is no benefit whatsoever in buying a season ticket because of the disruption of times and days we will be playing next season.

We are in dangerous territory as lower league clubs who rely on that money.

Clever indeed when we don’t yet know   all of the times and days we will be playing next season nor the times and days when we will be on TV.

My best guess, and it is only a guess, is that we’ll be televised maybe 5-6 times per season, and not necessarily be moved to another kick-off time for all of those games.

If anyone has a better understanding, please share it.

Maybe another valid reason for keeping the season tickets the same price 'Mr Vit'!

So NS was BBs fault. That's incorrect.

The club struggled under V2001 but hearts were in the right place.

I'm not sure we can say that at the moment.

You could easily argue that NS would’ve never taken ownership if the club was being properly run under Bratt and V2001.

Most likely, but I think still unconfirmed. I will see what I can dig out. Don't think the EFL have released the information yet, particularly as there might well be some rule that prevents clubs being shown too much over the expense of others (largely to protect certain members of the Championship all jostling for TV time).

Now I know I was well into me abbots the other night, but I'm sure I read/saw somewhere that Sky are advertising that all teams would be shown 20 times next season including every midweek match

I would temper the above by saying that I also hallucinated that Gillian Anderson said she come to the Harrogate away game on the promise of me showing her my "alien wreak-age" so, you know..............🙈🙈🙈🙈

Well you didn’t dream the bit about being live at least 20 times; Gillian Anderson is another matter all together.

Damn I was rather kinda hoping the Gillian bit was real - good spot on Sky though Wozza 👏👏👏👏👏

NS had how many years at the club in comparison?

I fully belive Bill steered us through some choppy waters. The club could well be extinct had he and v2001 not took the reins.

They did what they had to do. This club would be better ran with a return to part supporters ownership.

How many shares did you lose previously, and how much would you be prepared to invest now, especially with that dodgy Carol at the helm, you know, the woman with only profit on her agenda ?

Is this 20 game TV coverage good or bad for PV? It can only be good if the overall income stream is clearly going to be increased. But given there is an easy motivation to not attend effect, it's difficult to assess the impact in any event.

You mean Carol who at Synectic solutions ran one of the countries leading anti fraud services company. Including protecting the public purse through the National Fraud Initiative in liaison with the Audit Commission and in recent years the Cabinet Office. You are 100% wrong.

Maybe she can now go after the billions siphered from the taxpayer during covid and the shareholders with conflict of interest governmental connections?

She only has to ask. Plenty of local investors waiting in the wings if she feels it's time to call it a day.

At the end of the day after last years disgrace she should declare a purchase player budget to get the club back into league one.

Then people can decide if it is worth investing in a season ticket.

Sorry, it's my professional field and I got a bit excitable. I have been personally involved in using their data analysis during the National Fraud Initiative - something Carol and hubby built up from scratch.
