Can't see Adams signing 4 more? We've signed some decent players who are probably on much higher wages than the players we've just released, (barring Richards). That's without Dicko's wage, he'd be 7.

It would be 2 max for me. Dicko & 1 more. Another striker or a LB? If we've got a better budget for 4 more players i certainly won't be complaining though. We could always dip into the loan market of course if we need to aswell.

Whether it be on loan or permanent,i do think Adams will bring in Dickinson(if fit),a left back and one more striker, that for me will probably be it.

Dickinson, another striker, LB and I think another midfielder - a ball player like Roberts who we still need to replace 6/7/8(?) months on. Creative and can score. I very much doubt it's going to happen especially as Adams seems to be going down the route that equaled us being 1/2 in the league for half the season a couple of seasons ago... Defend brilliantly, soak-up all pressure, catch teams on the break, 1 nil, game over 30 mins in!

I heard it was Mark McCammon.

I presume you're having a laugh.

I know Marlon Jackson's goalscoring, so far, isn't great, but he's the what I've been wanting for years, a big, quick, black striker. Although, perhaps he's more of a winger.

Presumably named after a member of the Jackson 5.

I think he means we need players that can play in the next league up to get us out of this one. If the players are only good enough for League 2 then Port Vale as a team will stay in League 2.

Incorrect, look at Shrewsbury and Crewe for example, got up to league one, then got rid of some players e.g Artell, who then go and play for league two clubs again.....
