I'd go 12 month deal + 1 year in clubs favour.

If he can have a sustained period of fitness he's going to be extremely valuable. If it's a 6 month deal then he would probably leave for nothing to a higher club in Jan. As 4th choice striker at this stage plus the flexibility of our squad I think he would be well worth the gamble given his age.

Yeah good points, I was thinking 12 months at first but swayed to a 6 month deal just solely on if he can get his fitness upto speed or his body breaks down again. Thing with a 12 month deal is if he picks up another bad injury we’re stuck with him. He’s already had 2 injuries to rule him out for an entire season

Most recent one at Derby was a hamstring injury which young lads tend to get. If memory serves me right I'm sure Gerrard struggled with back and hamstring injuries until he was about 23.

I wouldn't be as concerned about it.

It would be pretty naive to not be concerned with John Jukes I think mate. As I’ve already said though I certainly wouldn’t be against having a gamble on him but the contract deal would need some serious & cautious consideration

Would love to see Worral back in a Vale shirt should never have being let go in the first place

My point is mate he's no Wilo, his injuries look more growing pains rather than being made of glass. I saw an article in April where Paul Warne said he was available and the best player in training. this was only 2 months removed from hamstring surgery which is pretty impressive.

I certainly wouldn't give him any more than 12 months on prove it deal.

There's 3 outgoing today I've heard of my source .

A new kit reveal also.

The incoming is the biggest of the lot says source .

So there’s 3 outgoing & 1 incoming today HP? If the next person coming through the door is a bigger signing than George Byers I’ll be mega shocked. Who’s your source… DI? 😉

The players in attendance for the kit launch is perhaps revealing?

AM - Garrity,Chizzy,Curtis,Sang

PM - Amos,Ojo.

Ripley on his way out??

Ojo staying???

Some midfield that if Ojo is staying in the right head space.

I don’t see Ojo going anywhere myself, I know some don’t rate him & most can agree his attitude is a worry but technically he will be more than fine in league 2 & as you say gives great depth in midfield. That’s not me saying he’s brilliant but he would get into most squads at this level. And would be a bit weird having both the keepers at the kit launch so wouldn’t read into Ripley too much myself but with Amos coming in it wouldn’t be a shock if he left would it
