In fairness Derby haven't really been hammering teams up to this point, they are quite average in general play and generally win by close margins so no reason we can't make a game of it, it will more likely be one where we huff and puff and lose 1-0 or 2-0 without really laying a glove.

Vale need to get at them early on. If they do a 'Darren Moore' typical and sit back it won't work

The only way to come away from Derby with anything is to score goals... Possibly playing Mighten in front of Garrity and Chislet

Looks surprisingly decent on paper other than the backline which is crap whoever you choose. Sadly, "on paper" has never won games of football.

Lowe should be nowhere near the pitch for me mate. Switch him & Mitch over & keep Jones at left back. Yes Jones is a massive liability but we aren’t blessed with many other options & I thought he did ok against Fleetwood. Lowe offers absolutely nothing at all just jogs about the pitch with his swagger

I’d probably go

                 Ripley

Clark   Lopata   Yak    Jones

            Ojo       Sang

Mighten     Weir     Chislett

                 Garrity

I’d be happy with that team mate

What is the injury with Wilson this time? Broken hip flask. Is it the 2 week issue or something more serious ?

Skybet have us at 6/1 to win tomorrow which are massive odds in a two horse race. There are a couple of other games Bolton v Cambridge, Carlisle v Reading. Cheltenham v Burton. Cambridge, Carlisle,Burton and ourselves to win 557/1. I’m certainly no advocating gambling just massive odds for a four fold.

The house always wins...just ask Denise Coates

Wonder if we will give the sky blue kit a go tomorrow? We've only worn it once!

It will probably go one of two ways;

We'll get threaped 5/6 none and give up after 30 mins when we're 3-0 down

OR

we'll have a magnificent defensive rearguard, throw everything back at them....Lofty comes on and in the 98th minute backheads one into his own goal and we lose 1-0!

You know it'll happen!

No way would Loft hit the back of any net

He'd be facing the wrong way....he was trying to clear it of course! I didn't mean a conventional header and NO WAY would he be heading it in their area....😂

Near 1/5 of his career goals tally have actually been in the back of the Vale net...

Scored 21

Scored v Vale 4 (1 for Carlisle, 2 for Scunthorpe, 1 for Rovers)

We need to tell him we are shooting the wrong way!
