It’s not just Saturday is it? It’s 3 wins in 19 games so if anything it’s an under reaction.

Personally I don’t think we have progressed from last season. Some areas of the pitch we are strong (in goal) others I think we are much weaker. The league table Dosent represent any form of progression.

No, it isn't just saturday, but injuries & international call-ups didn't help progress before christmas either. Personally I don't think the team is weaker, but injuries and lack of a settled side have certainly hindered progression. The point I was making remains valid though - to suggest the Shanahans sell up is a complete over-reaction.

Live in the past if you want to, ostrich...yes, they did a great job saving the club but they're not doing a great job now get real. And thanks for the history lesson, really didn't know all that😆😛😉

I’m not living in the past - but I don’t think it’s a good idea to keep digging up a seed to see if it’s growing yet, we only planted this one less than a year ago….. DC was our hero but his problems took over and we nearly went back.
why do you think anyone would be interested in buying a club where so-called fans are permanently critical of their owners and managers?

Some of us actually remember the “Black and Gold” campaign and how wonderful it would be to be owned by Mo Chaudry and shareholder votes about Valiant 2001…which ended in administration.
I don’t want to see that happen again.

As someone who was heavily involved with the stress of trying to rid the club of previous owners can I just say 'Nippy' that IMHO every PVFC fan should be eternally grateful for the fact that Carol & Kevin have paid well over the odds and saved the club from extinction, invested further millions of pounds in the club's infrastructure, invested in the playing budget to get us out of league 2, increased the playing budget to enable us to improve the squad this season, created an Academy that is already bearing fruit.

All this is working towards making us a self sufficient club that is a huge part of the local community well beyond just it's footballing core.

Whilst, we are all concerned at results since we briefly went top of the table at kick off against Burton.

Anyone who thinks, like yourself, that Carol should put the club up for sale so that a 'new owner' will suddenly appear who has the same love of the club as Carol and family really needs a reality check.

I protested numerous time before and after games to get try and force smurthwaite the leach out the club , so let's not start throwing toys out of prams let's agree to disagree that's the beauty of football everyone is entitled to an opinion 👍

I get that saturday was disappointing but we are without the midfield backbone of Garrity, Ojo, Blaster & Devine and it will take a while for the new lads to settle. To start shouting sell up is quite some over-reaction.

So what happened between the 16th September & the 9th December when all 4 of the above named were available and playing?

Some fans just can't see it can they Crosby is the main reason we are struggling he sets up the team to be solid with no attacking threat whatsoever it's the same week in week out .

The past is the past .

In the past I followed a huge coffin up Vale .

I personally feel that to get in a football ground the price should reflect the last home performance .

So I'd making Leyton 10 pounds for 18 /65 year olds

5 pounds for 13 /18 year olds

Free under 12s

I think the Charlton game deserved folk paying full price v Pompey however  the performance v Pompey well who in the right mind going 25 quid or whatever it is on the day v Leyton Orient after that.

Keep reading folk saying they are not going again, etc etc but we had that for years even I've said it in the past but something keeps me going up there at present it's more loyalty to C And K ,for saving the club than how much I look forwards to the games .

It's been a strange seasons work up to yet some games I come home and think wow that was good then others I sit there or usually stand ,now at the back of the hamil to the opened left side near  paddock and think what the hell was that .

It's like a tombola watching Vale .

It's bloody annoying cause the games I've been buzzing before the game we have  played  absolutely dire .

As I rarely drink before game as have to drive its really hard to be positive after Saturdays non event (that's how I felt coming away from game absolutely embarrassed at how poor we were ).

What does the future hold well after someone just pulled out on me on motorway in a enterprise van coming back from Liverpool in terrible weather and my  excellent way I managed steer out of trouble I'm just happy be here still been able support the Vale .

So up the Vale

I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong, but 10 lost 5 drawn and 4 won in all competitions. Not at all good admittedly. In mitigation, we had no striker on the pitch for the majority of those games, which is a reasonable quetion of the management. But still no reason to ask for the club to be put up for sale or question the motivation of the owner?

Went through it all....in terms of reality,as a serial season ticket holder, I'm not impressed with where we are on the pitch, our league position, the lack of belief/atmosphere in the crowd,we have a joke of a forward line, not bothered about a new scoreboard to tell us what We're losing by,I earn basic wage and commit my money to the club, so the least I expect to see is a commitment on the field,no excuses ,no half arsed attempt to win a header or 2nd ball...yes ,the Shanahans saved the club from a potential closure (what may he have really done?) But that doesn't mean that no individual is ever allowed to say anything negative about the current setup. I know they love the club but in terms of where we are in terms of league status they are no better than where we were previously...well intentioned strugglers instead of asset stripping mugger...
