Match Thread: Port Vale v Plymouth Argyle

I know this isn't a major issue, but has anyone else questioned what's going on with attendances we're announcing? There were 8,072 Vale fans there yesterday in a total crowd of 11,998. I always think back to Wolves in 2013, there was 8,140 Vale fans in that crowd out of 12,601 in total.

The first picture below is a screenshot of the Bycars v Wolves. 2nd is a screenshot v Plymouth. The Railway looks very similar in both games with plenty of spare seats towards the Bycars end, but pretty full the rest of the stand. Either way, I just don't get how between the Railway, Bycars and Lorne St there was only 8k Vale fans there on Sunday. Looked way more to me.

Billy Bell wasn't even discrete. It used to infuriate me as we fans used to come for criticism due to the attendances given. Remember Les Scott writing in the sentinel after the Wolves game in 96 that we were outnumbered by Wolves. There was 7k Wolves, they had half the LS too, Belly give the crowd as 13k. There was way more than 6k Vale there that day.

Rudgey organised the game. Remember him mentioning it at a speech he gave at Sandyford Cricket Club. Rudge was due to get some of the gate, and was told by someone in the know that Belly walked in, told them to turn the counter off and walked out. Fans were queuing to get in, and wasn't KO delayed?
