Sad times for all of that new this fella. Any long term supporter will have known him, if not his name.

He started supporting the Vale mid1960,s and was a Bycars Tea Bar boy. Still watched from the same place early this season. Have met him supporting the club at the four corners of the country.( Hartlepool, Gillingham, Exeter and Workington to name a few).

Always greeted you with a broad grin. Will be missed by anyone that new him.  As long as I live he will not be forgotten

Micky  Wallbank lived in Wolstanton over 50 years ago.He was a few years older than Morris Square lads but could be seen regularly around there.RIP.

Mick was brilliant. IWe used to go to The Torch with him and the Vale games .His mum land dad lived next door until they both passed away in recent years. Mick used to start chants off in the Bycars End in the good old days .He was Vale through and through .He enjoyed loads of holidays recently but sadly went into hospital at Christmas for tests.He  died suddenly in hospital a couple of weeks ago. We were all devastated. His funeral was sentiment to the good guy he was, as 60 scooters formed their guard of honour in the shape of a V....for his beloved Vale. Thanks Mick for all the memories ,spanning back to Hose Street, home of the Torch. RIP

Echo this sentiment. Mick was a mod from Bradwell, I was a rocker from Chesterton. We should never have been friends. However our mutual hobby of all things Vale overcame this and I am proud to call him my friend.

I didn't know Mick personally but as a fellow Mod of the 60's and a staunch Valiant I hope he finds his Lambretta Heaven up there. RIP.

Don’t recognise him by the name but probably knew him by sight, I used to be a Bycars tea bar boy, still sit in the Bycars where the tea bar used to be.
