Time will tell on that score.  Smith is no angel but I think on this occasion their player came straight over and through him, ending up on top.  It did look at the time like he was making sure there was some contact with Smith as he “broke free”.

I never ever claim that "everything is rosey!! I take exception at posters stating "facts" based solely on their interpretation...quoting "facts" like Stevens never makes a save - yet there are videos on here showing that isn't true! Maybe he doesn't  make enough saves? But that's a different statement. "Facts" like Vale are skint, and Carol has been told to cut the budget - told by who? Which budget? Or have the owners and management taken a sensible business decision to not spend a fortune on the squad this transfer window when it clearly isn't needed, with players coming back from injury?  As for justifying the "nonsense I spout" on here - you are one of a small group of consistently negative posters who seem unable to separate their doom and gloom opinions from reality?

Thankfully, that’s why I’m glad that Carol runs the club and not the fans that get sucked in with idol speculation. We all love the club otherwise we wouldn’t be commenting on this site, but just let the management get on with it. Unfortunately, the mega bucks being spent by the Sheffields of this world, to buy promotion, is pushing standard league 1 players way out of our range. At the end of the season some of these failures will be glad of a reasonable wage in league 1.
