To start with I was uneasy with some of the answers given. When discussing the old board Ryder touched his nose a lot (a proven sign of someone who is lying). He also said (or so I think) that he invested £100k with the old board as they promised that they would stand down at the AGM; this didn't quite add up for me somehow.

However I did feel that as the meeting drew on he may have been nervous, and he was just being as honest as possible. Time will tell.

Got pretty bored of all the ST and OAP ticket questions which were already answered in The Sentinel.

I'm also pretty sick of the whinging about the ST price increase. Inflation currently stands at around 3.5%. Therefore taking into this years and next years inflation means that the season tickets have effectively dropped in price, if the increase was just 5%.

Anyway, I'm leaning towards the opinion that Ryder is going to be a reall asset to PVFC. Until someone can prove otherwise he has my 100% backing.

And well done to those guys organising the Supporters Club, I think your approach is excellent and you have a much better vision for the suporters of this club than the old board could have dreamt of.

I'm genuinely excited about the increased playing budget, offer Shukes and Marsh a new contract NOW!

I agree with Adams, there does not need to be WHOLESALE changes, more an injection of quality!

I'll be having a £10 each way bet on Vale to get promoted this season. We have a great manager, in a **** league.

It won't take loads of time to get out of this league, it just requiers a cash injection, and everything else will follow.

Yes, an injection of a few real quality players could be enough for us to push.for an automatic place from this league. We'd then have to spend some real cash to progress in L1, just at some of the others who have gone up the last season or two. Except for the odd exception, they're on their way back down.

I think we need to take small steps

Get the creditor meeting passed etc

It seems the Football League already know about Mr Ryder so getting their blessing might be quicker than normal and enable Uncle Micky to get some signing to excite people to invest in season tickets, still will be the cheapest way to watch next season but i/you need to be convinced before we part with our 300 squid!!

I'm truly glad you're all happy with how it went tonight (I'm ignoring those who are complaining they couldn't get in since the turnout was so massive, and somehow that was Keith's fault).

What I am p1s*ed off about is anyone attacking Mo for not being there. Why tf should he have been there for goodness sake? He was a silver lining throughout your change movement and you should remember the part he played in ousting the scum that were slowly killing your club.

Good luck you lot, and Up the Vale!

COYS.

Hope you are still on for that girls drinking session when we are in the Premiership !!!

Guys, get a grip! It was full. Some people couldn't get in. Get over it. He's offered to talk to you later. That's good of him. We don't have to moan about everything. There's a bigger picture. Tonight is the start of our brighter future. Stop moaning. Breathe. Have a cup of tea. Smile.
If he had given free drinks away some would still moan its not in the right glass.

starve em out croud moaning they couldn't get in because it was too busy. It doesn't get much better than that ha.

If you'd got in, would it not have been too busy and you were standing on each others toes? give it up lads it really is pathetic now.

If you had got there earlier, you wouldn't be moaning

Wrong!!! The starve em out crowd (notice the correct spelling) were in there for this meeting as they have been for all the other meetings/protests and you would do well to remember that. If it wasn't for the commitment of people like these, you would still be putting up with Bratt and Co because I bet you didn't bother did you?????

That's what I meant mate. Mentally I'm allready in next season as this one is over (except for when our youth team rolls over against Oxford and gets 'their bellies tickeled')
