Stop moaning

Recommended Posts

First and foremost we all Vale supporters and I think some of us have lost sight of that over the last few years and months for understandable reasons. I for one would like to get back to supporting the team and Iook to the future and leave the past where it belongs.

For the record I was 100% pro Mo and there is a good chance I still am.

Good for you mate, i was and now i'm a lot less pro-mo but thats my choice and i won't let total pro-moers railroad me into anything different.

just to be clear i am totally in the middle here i'm quite excited at the thought who could be intrested in the club also i am hopeful mo will put in a bid worthy to become the preffered bidder, but i will not chastise those who have a view one way or the tother which is how i have read into martins comments they are all worthy of their viewpoint without being tarnished one way or tother which seems to be the way at the moment on both forums and fizzhog

i have tried to remove myself from debate as i am willing to see what happens, but when removed if you look and read and try to take it all in, we do really look a load of idiots

i'm sorry but that is how i have read into it and it upsets me greatly to see this after all we have been through the last 18mths

Have I missed some thing ? where was that reported ?

Wasn't even quoting you deano, and what i was eluding to was a "what if" scenario not something that has actually happened but as i said, as you have left out, a purely hypothetical situation, but still asking what if and what happens, if mo is chosen over a potentially better deal for port vale due pressure from what could be construed as a pro-mo group with a agenda.

I never said that included you,it may or it may not, i dont know.

All this "LETS GO WITH MO AND SIMMO" and "MOS THE ONLY PERSON FOR VALE" rhetoric that there seems to be a lot of at the minute just doesn't make sense to me, and i'm not saying thats you before you chop out another prime part of my quote that makes it look like i'm saying something i'm not.

I doubt he has and just because you may think mo is the right person doesn't mean everyone else has to fall in line and think the same.

Hypothetical question so don't anybody be giving me the "it'll never happen" quotes as i'm well aware of it, but, what if the admins did bow to pressure and went with the pro-mo group and mo got the nod because of that but after, it came to light that caudwell or bamford was one of the better choices but they didn't get it because so many were "its mo or nothing"?

What happens then?

You've discarded another option because of pure Mo ****** mindedness and stopped a more lucrative deal happening. I know its not down to us but what if they did go with mo because of the pressure to have him in place potentially we are missing out on a better thing for port vale!

I have no idea if Mo is the right person, and I am not a pro-Moer as you seem to think I am. I just don't believe that having a go at Vale fans who have a different opinion to me gets us anywhere, and labelling pro-Moers as whingeing, moaning and self interested doesn't help.

Of course I would be extremely disappointed if Young makes the wrong choice and I suspect that nothing we do or say will have any effect on his decision.

The problem, as I see it, is that people campaigned for change and now that it has happened, still feel that they should have a say.

People were critical of V2001, as a 'fan owned club', as they felt that they weren't given a voice, and protested for them to be removed and a single owner given a chance. With Bratt et al now removed, some supporters feel that they should still have some influence and voice.

Now, it would be foolish of any prospective owner not to listen to supporters, as they are the life-blood of any club. That said, a single owner ultimately has the final say so, and there's nothing that you, I or anybody can do to change that.

Currently we find ourselves in administration, and despite protestations, only Messrs Young and Krasner will make any decision about the future owners of PVFC.

People say that we should be throwing our weight behind Mo and his bid. Well, at the moment there is no bid, so there is nothing to throw our weight behind. Whilst in a perfect world we would get to know about all the prospective owners and their plans, this isn't such a world and people need to accept that you have absolutely no say so anymore, and that's what you campaigned for.
