Great interview...friendly, relaxed, good to see DC cracking a few jokes and it ought to answer those questions raised by people wondering why they're all in Spain? Alongside the Senile article on the work being done at VP this Club is now the most professional it's ever been in my nearly 60 years of being a fan!

Great interview and shows how the club is moving forward and progressing.  Seen some clubs just crash after not having the foundations in place.  Sounds like they are getting everything in place ready for the push to the Championships.  Hope it works for all their efforts.

Come on own up, who wanted the golf buggy to tip over, roll back or just slide down the slope in the back ground during the interview.  😉 🤣

Brilliant interview that answers lots of the questions that have been posed on here and gave some fascinating insights including but not limited to…

- why does Flickers need to be there - he runs the football dept and there are a lot of new faces in the backroom staff and they need to a bond as much as the players 

- views on recruitment

- why they believe getting the back room staff right was so important - gives you a wider margin of success when you sign someone because the back room staff has the ability to improve / motivate / get what they need out of a player 

- how recruitment has been able to continue

- the importance of not panicking

- how to pronounce Flickers nickname (DC is very much an S on the end type of fellow)

- their view on the % of recruitment they have to get right to be successful = 75%

- why they are building a football club not just a football team
