After 34 games last season Stevenage were in the bottom half of the table on 45 points - only 2 more than we have after our deduction. They won 7, drew 3 and lost 2 of their last 12 games, made the play offs and went up.

I posted on another thread, I feel more positive about making the playoffs now, than I did when MOLD were in situ. There's a positive feeling around the club again, unity, and I think the momentum will build with each match. We need to be vocal, every game, like the last 10 minutes on Tuesday. This could be an amazing ride. Stand up if you love the Vale!

Its a big ask but I agree, its not impossible.

 

Like the guy said on RS last night, Crewe think they have an outside chance of making the play-off's. If they lose today and we win, we're just 3 points off them although admittedly there is a gap opening up with the top 8 teams.

 

Just a pity about the late goals we conceded at Bradford/ Accrington whilst we've been undefeated, those 4 points lost could be the difference.

 

But we have a good team on a good run and the best supporters in the world backing them........................................ Game on!

I know its a long shot but we do need to believe and pass that on to the player's.But IF it did happen it really would be fantastic and would really rub salt into the wounds of the departing,self serving scrote's.

 

I hear that the has been a big rush,panic buying of throat lozengers in anticipation of all the sore throats due to the shouting and singing at todays game.
