THE BEST i have knownit be at VP for at least 4-5 years

 

The only time I've felt like that in any recent seasons was when Roberts scored that cracker against Shrewsbury, and the whole ground was chanting for ages.

 

It certainly felt more like 5100 in there last night.

Two shivers down my spine - The first was when the tanny announcer asked us all, whether we were SEO, B&G, or whatever, to support the team, leading to massive cheer. The second was the "stand up if you love the vale" chant, just at the right time to see Dodds' first.

Best night I have had a Vale Park in many years. It is a shame that things have been aloud to come to this but I got a real feel of unity last night. Lets get through this administration process and look to the future with hope.

The last tim I was as proud as I was last night of the team and the fans was the years we won the autoglass at Cardiff. To watch from where I was everyone stand in unison was absolutely awesome.

 

People often say Vale Park should be a fortress, well last night was how you make it so, only wish we could do it every week. This unfortunately is ne of the pitfalls of all seated grounds, it takes the atmosphere away.

 

I was a tad dissapointed in the gate as I thought there were more than 5100 people in that ground.

 

Id also like to thank the few Stokies I saw at the ground standing shoulder to shoulder with us. However one lad was a braver man than me walking the full length of the paddock at half time with his strip in full view!!

 

If the last 15 minutes of last night didnt confirm the councils correct decision, nothing will. I only hope that this council Veto doesnt come back to bite us on the bum.
