Playoff positions all but sorted?

If or not we stay up in L1 after gaining promotion is besides the point.

Mickey Adams is doing his best to achieve promotion and very well so far.

The two latest loan/no contract players could do great things for the team and if/when Chris Birchill gets his papers through I fancy a good run of success for the team.

I now think that getting and staying in the play off's is a possibility.

Best wishes to the lads for a win at Northampton on Saturday.

Anonymous? What do you want? A photograph of me and a name and address? If you're going to Northampton I'll quite happily have a beer with you beforehand just PM me.

I responded to you saying you did not want Vale to achieve promotion because it would supposedly be twisted in to a positive for the board, and also your wishes for Administration. Comments like this really try my patience because despite everything going on at the club, on a Saturday afternoon, for our own sanity, a lot of fans just like to think about football. I have not seen a Vale promotion since my first season, 18 years ago, and would not pass up the opportunity to see it now!

In your recent posts you seem to have U-turned and said you want us to get promoted and you want us to not go in to Administration. I suggest you consider the damage you're doing to the change movement when you make the initial comments, which will undoubtedly split Vale fans ultimately after the same goal, to remove this board.

No, I'd rather not have a drink with you.

A number of posters made similiar points to me, and did not even back them up as I did. You decided to pick me out for reasons best known to yourself and use your anonymous status on this site to have a pop. Classy...and now you seem to want to have a drink!

I have not u-turned at all. I explained my views, but you just want to sound off with rants about "the change movement". I have my views, they are shared by many on here. You have yours. Live with it.

I'd rather pick up points now and hope that we have a competent board in place for the run-in. If we lose the EGM I hope we fall short of promotion to force them out through admin. Any promotion bid this season is built on sand, which will never be a stable platform for progression and will see us humiliated and destroyed financially on the way.

Cheap - I seem to recall not so long ago you were saying Miller and Deakin were great, optimist.

I think a lot of people just seek to attack other posters rather than the points they make. I presume it's because they haven't got the balls to stand up to people face to face so they need to vent on a forum where there will be no repercussions.

I don't want to have a drink, I knew you wouldn't be going to Northampton and it got around your anonymity accusation.
