Richards to go end of season

Fatboy said it in the press.

I'm just shocked he hasn't had his op with this in mind

Just shows his decency and strength of character, where in truth nothing really left to play for this season bar his personal pride.

Unlikely to get involved in a relegation scrap despite any potential points deduction and not good enough to go up. If I were him i'd have my Op and get ready for 2012-2013 wherever my future lay.

When he's gone the threads will say 'if only we had a 20 goal a season striker.........

I hope that things can change for the better after the EGM. Although I know its not going to be as simple as that but I know Rico has said before how much he enjoys playing for this club, so maybe with a new board and a plan of action we can convince him to stay?

Spot on!!!

I would bookmark this post for when we have no one scoring goals next season so we can ram it down the donuts throats who reckon he offers nowt and only scores penalties...(MVF Tumbleweed etc)

This is a thread of 'the bleedin' obvious'. IF the current mob are still in charge they will obviously fail to meet Richards wage levels, however, that's IF they're still here. Going by what's in the public domain about the club's finances come the summer when Rico's contract runs out we could have already been through admin and / or a takeover and things COULD be very different.

As many people have said before, until the current mob have been evicted we'll continue to go backwards.

couldnt really blame the lad if he wanted to leave board hasnt got any money no plans no ambition nothing..

if we can get rid of the mold thats taking our club to the grave then i reckon he will stay but if they are still here by the end of the season i expect to see more than just rico going
