Board survival

They are stubborn, can't see the wood for the trees and most importantly for ML & GO hoping to get the money back they've invested in shares. Why would Lloyd, who must be in his 60's, want to deal with all this crap, it has to be money related.

If the club go into admin what happens to the the shares and their value. If it was aquired by a new owner I presume the share ownership and value would stay the same. If V2001 went into liquidation then I assume the shares would cease to exist and hence have no value.

Before Xmas we were looking good regardless of all the **** in the board room, We bought in Guy Madjo and Myrie-Williams, Rigg and Loft had a brilliant open to the season. At one point it was all looking rosey. Same as last year before all the Gannon issues. Its never easy being a vale fan. Dreaming of what could of been... What we could of won! (conna beat a bit of bully) now look... all cos of 3-4 individuals who claim to be vale fans. It hurts man! I want my Vale back! :(

Whoevers fault it is it needs sorting, i have all faith in the supporters club and i hope we get it sorted but the "people" who call themself the "current board" need to get out before we force them out. Alot of people are getting angry its only going to take a few people to lose it and like said in previous threads it will get messy. I arent condoning it but does anyone else see any other option? If they keep their places in the EGM I dread to think what will happen.

I doubt it will change the club position if they dont survive an EGM.

Its not going to change the problems overnight and the interim board will find its self in the same position as if the board survived and all the problems that brings, including the possibility of administration. There is no magic wand, there is simply more hope with an interim board with some competence

Whoever takes over is going to need to find investment or find some serious brass from somewhere to fix all the past debt. So he/she/it or them would either have to be very brave, clever or seriously stupid.

Sadly i know a few people(one i work with) who would still get one and there will be more but whether it will be enough for them to fun function is another matter.

I also know a fair few who love the idea of Bratt coming back in some capacity.

i know plenty who think like that too, hence my complete disillusionment with the whole situation :(

Lloyd wants his money back, even though it was his choice to buy Bratts shares and by doing so no money went into the club it went into Bratts pocket.

I have faith in the SC they seem to have all the angles covered and I think lessons have been learned from the last time,if it did get "messy" before the EGM it will play into their hands and it will turn alot of the floating voters off.

If the EGM is lost I dread to think of the aftermath

Lets just hope it gets sorted and doesnt affect the footballing side anymore than it already has done. I think losing the loanees we had was a kick in the balls for our hopes of promotion.

If the board survive another EGM, just what kind of club will they be left with?

They will still have enormous debts and loans to service ,they will have no money to put together a squad, little chance of keeping the manager, very little interest commercially, and absolutely no chance of selling season-tickets and many innocent staff and services at the club will have to be axed due to severe lack of money.

As well as all these operational problems they will also have the morale failings such as alienating a thousands of supporters, turning away the future generation of supporters, depriving the local community and the likely possiblity of being known as the 'men' who destroyed PVFC.

Why are they so keen to cling onto a realistic scenario like that?

I get the distinct feeling that Miller/Deakin et al won't give a flying fk what state the club is in, as long as they can keep their snouts in the £100k a year (+car +left over pies) trough in any way they can

Regardless of all the legallities of issuing nilpaid shares to themselfs to save there skins, at the end of the day it's the fans who keep the club in business and they bank on the fact that loyal fans will still go to the match and support the club.

they're supposed to be the board so let's see the colour of there money (come on boys cough up to show your commintment to the future of the club)

Sadly my father in law is one of these clowns. Desperate for Mo not to have any involvement, where if he does says that will stop him from going :banghead::banghead:and remembers good old Bill concreting the floors:mad::mad: I am sure these people are in the minority, but they still exist for some bizarre reason, talk about blind faith!

I for one will not be there next year if any of the current board survive - there is no hope or progress with the current gates / income levels, and both of these will only reduce if they manage to cling to power:(:(
