just a little observation i made today...now granted i have been to every home game this season so not sure if i have missed it during previous games and its only just come to my attention..but certaintly last season as i sat in the family stand i always remember the ball boys running past b4 kick off and at half time with a ball each..when the ball went out of play there was always the quick throw of another ball and the game was goin again..just the amount of time we had to wait during todays game when the ball went out of play got me thinking..whats happened? cant we even afford 10 balls for a match day nomore?

C;mon mate we are little cash-strapped Port Vale...ten balls went when we signed those players on loan

I thought they dropped the multi-ball system this season?

multi ball system was scraped by the league i think. Dont know why because it made the game better. no sitting round waiting.

You're correct on both counts! It helped the games to flow much better with the multi-ball system. Don't understand why the football league made the ruling?
