Dave needs to apologise to the people behind the scenes fighting for our future for his conduct and condescending damage he did behind the scenes. Then we can move forward together.

You know what, I really appreciate Dave's efforts for the club, and those who verbally abused and lambasted him after he himself was fooled by the scum board are probably responsible for this silence. Dave probably knows (you'd hope) he was duped, but he is too valuable to us for people to abuse him.

 

Just like many were on the receiving end of his tongue when we didn't agree with his pro board policy! I remember getting a grilling 'for supporting Bratt' just because I didn't vote for Deakin. We all had our opinions and were expressing them, but that's in the past and dragging that up will achieve nothing.

 

Please read Martin Tidewells blog, fans should be united whether they supported the old or new board or whether they were hardcore SEO, it matters nothing now. What matters now is that we get them out and the more who join the party the merrier.

 

Dave is a passionate fan like the rest of us, no different so let's have a group hug and move forward as one.

He's a good bloke and a true Vale fan. I'd imagine he's feeling mightily embarrassed about what has happened.

I spoke with Dave on Saturday in the Bulls Head and from what he said he seemed humbled and a little embarrassed by what had gone on. I also got the impression that he feels that he's let a lot of good Vale fans down with his support of the board and has taken it quite personally. Might be a million miles away but that's certainly how it seemed to me.

 

Dave if you're reading we all make mistakes don't take it to heart man and get yourself back.

What might that be? Yes, he supported MOLD, but so did a lot of others - some of whom are now trying desperately to deny it and say they suspected them all along.

 

Dave backed the wrong horse and he knows it now, otherwise he wouldn't have been canvassing for the SC last Monday. Cut him some slack for God's sake.

I agree. My whole point was that instead of whispering and gossiping about Dave, lets welcome him back as he's one more that can help us drive these *******s out!

Proberly hiding through embarrasment. Never has one man misjudged a situation & a set of people so badly!!

I held out my hand in freindship to dave at macc and wished him and his wife well, I disagree with his views post egm but I could never blank the guy, his big mistake was to meet the board alone and to think getting rid of bratt was the end game in my opinion

 

I hope he can return to the forum and SC soon
