I said it a few times in this topic, and its still valid, you have to have the no deal option, in any negotiation... if your selling anything without the no deal or walk away option you have to accept whats offered. ie selling a car you want 500 the buyer offers 300 without the no deal your 200 down, and the cars gone.

The eu have said without something positive they wont offer a extention, also said no matter who the pm is, or the government the deal may was told is it. So if we ask to revoke article 50 there're going to say sure welcome back all's forgiven and don't give it a thought, get your feet back under the table... yea dream on.

Johnson has said he doesn't want No Deal.  He clearly wants a deal.  He thinks Britain is very much part of Europe.  He thinks we should have partnerships with Europe in science, the arts, the universities, the environment, etc.  He wants free trade and access to the single market.  He should be busting a gut to get these things he wants instead of allowing Cummings to manipulate him into the ridiculous position he finds himself in of demanding a no deal option.

Blocking no-deal is madness.

It's more or less surrending to the EU and accepting any terms they put forward.

Do the Remainer hypocrites realise that they are simply trying to block the default path they all voted to trigger in Article 50.

And they accuse Brexiteers of not knowing what they voted for?

You couldn't make it up.

Why waste time? Why wasn't  no-deal voted on years ago?

Strange since he often refers to the Europeans as our friends, then in the next breath talks of surrender, which you only carry out with enemies. All this war room stuff? Well Churchill`s grandson has walked out on him,  bit of a blow that.

Do you mean Jezza's 'Surrender Bill'?

It was,remember Article 50?

It was only a default, why not do something positive for a change instead of underhand tactics. Article 50 also has a revoke clause, that was voted for as well. So why not answer the question when the real reason is not enough MPs want no-deal.,

no one wants a no deal, but to negotiate with strength/purpose you've got it, too if needed bring it to the table...

You have this annoying habit of introducing red herrings into a debate.  Seamus Milne is not a government advisor.  He is not manipulating the Prime Minister.  You behave like the sort of kid who got caught doing something naughty and replies saying "but he was doing it as well".

Read what I said about Johnson's wishes and then tell me why he is allowing Cummings and the ERG to make him change his mind?
