Robbie William's Suite

The share purchase money will not last anything like 18 months. £500k will probably just fill the hole this season if we're lucky. And with home crowds dropping by the game it may not even do that. Our wage bill is in the region of £200k+ per month if last year's accounts are anything to go by.

But haven't they said that the accounts for last year only show a small loss due to legal fees for the EGM? And so I was basing that assumption on that and the fact that we have been losing around £300k a season.

It is worrying. I've heard similar things from people who have had calls.

Mike Lloyd got the begging bowl out on the radio yesterday, in spite of £400,000 of new shares being bought in the last month or so (or so we've been told). It sounds like the club is skint.

People keep suggesting that the share purchases may not have actually happened. But is this legally possible? Surely we have to presume they did go through?

Nope, they said investment...its still on the clubs site.

They also said....

we were able to reassure the Blue Sky team of the new unity and harmony which exists with the club's supporters following recent changes in the boardroom."

In the same statement....

I am sure the "investment" money would "go through the books" was stated by someone, PD I think but not sure.... perhaps someone can jog my memory?

I think it was Lloyd that said that at theBaddeley Green meeting, Geo. an alarmingly unusual way of putting it, too.

i think they were banking on us all jumping on the bandwagon and buying into this with the mass purchase of season tickets, boxes and sponsorship

lloyd made the point that the supporters were now pulling together after the last 12 months with supporters rep and the protests now stopped wishful thinking on his part i think

Just to reiterate, the club doesn't own the land behind the Bycars where the training ground is. SOT City Council does. The club rents and maintains it for a peppercorn lease. So the club would be using this money to do up someone else's asset.

I wouldn't build a garage at my own expense on my next door neighbour's drive and watch the value of his house go up while I'm out of pocket. So why would Vale take season ticket money up front for the next five years to spend it on something that has no benefit to either their cash position or the balance sheet?

You could be right Dave. I assumed she meant CW. I was just stunned at the incredulity of it all. I also said that it I was worried that I could lose a lot of money if we went in to administration within the time scale, something that I think is still a real possibility after other things I have heard over the last week or two.

it couldnt possibly be chatterley whitfield because as of yesterday it became knowledge to me and others that the board have NO planning permission whatsoever and would be two years before they could complete anything , ITS ALL LIES.

what are these other things ray?

Considering we have supposedly had £250k off Miller, £150k off BlueSky and £100k off Deakin I was told that the club were in the red at the Bank at the end of October to the tune of almost six figures.
