Funny that defeats against Southend,Shrewsbury least we showed heart,super Marc Richards comes back and surprise surprise we turn in 2off the worst home displays for many a month,we have stopped looking like a team full of goals.

Coincidence Richards lovers i think not he is not as good as he thinks he is.

 

Your an idiot! why would we drop our goal scorer he consistently scores goals if given chances, how can he score when the midfield create **** all!!!!!! Wake up who do you want up front? Rigg and Pope? If we ever played just them to we would never score!

We will agree to disagree then. I take your point that he has to make things happen..but pretty difficult when your midfield go sideways or backwards, and your defenders lump it high and hopeful.

 

Feed it to Rico to feet, and he can turn and start things. he has never been great in the air..but he is still our best asset, and i would not sub him unless he had a stinker.

 

He had a stinker! Pope didn't!

The whole team were awful today. Same as against Morecambe.

 

The strikers need service. We have no one capable of supplying service to the front players.

 

Having said that. Why were Loft and Rigg switched around midway in first half ?

If Rigg isnt going to play as a third forward then dont play him at all. Taylor again got in a couple of crosses and nothing else from the left all day.

From the right again absolutely awful.

 

The back three are suppose to make a simple pass to the midfield 5 and let the ' footballlers of the team ' create something.

We have our ' footballers ' passing back again and again to our back line. What do they do ???

There must have been 20 back passes today to the keeper.

That is the only time the back line found a vale player.

Every time they played it forward it was awful.

 

M.A has a lot to answer for. Dont forget M.A. was quite happy with the way he strenghtened the team pre season

So im a idiot for having an opinion ,hey you worship him his 1 good game in every four will not help the Vale get promotion i have to be brilliant at my job every week.

In general r u happy with his performances at Vale park,how many times Man of the Match in past four seasons, apart from penalties and the odd hit and hope shot how often does he get his head in there and get his teeth knocked out for PVFC because his committment level is extreme.

Away from home he is a asset at home he is a hindrance.

 

You've spent the last 2 years calling for rico to be dropped (for malbon, for lawrie, for ring, for williamson) yet he has been top scorer both seasons. Yet you call for players to replace him who have rarely or never got into double figures. It makes no sense.

If we go out of the Cup against a non league side I think it will be time to swing the axe. The whole of the playing staff need a hard kick up the rear - perhaps a significant "sacking" will wake a few up from there comfort zone. ;)

 

But we can't afford to that.

Time to get back to basics ?

 

i don't think his performances have dropped because of his reserve team duties, he looks as though his legs have gone though which is a worry
