You miss the point my freind, Bill is not the one you need to convince it is the rest of the boar.

All your protests and stuff has just made Bill stronger withn the rest of the board.

By calling Bill his freinds gather round him to protect him and make his position stronger, so you have got no chance of removing him with mindless protests, nieve, you make my blood boil!!!

You should hear what the rest of the Board members say about Bill when he's not there;)

Jesus wept where does billy boy keep finding these people. Dave you should take a real good look.at the protesters nxt time.i was there with my son,and saw a mix of old and young, men and women there! You seem to have so called.answers. dont u think it would av been done if it was simple? And do u really think they wud let mo in by letting him buy 24% or.so.stake? And.ask yourself this question, would u give your own money to this board to control.when they are proven failures,by taking us to the very.edge of admin? Would u trust them ...seriously?

Sorry Dave8509, you may have a point about language/violence (I take my six-year old to matches) and the behaviour of a very small minority does risk demeaning the wider campaign. But, doing nothing will not get us anywhere.

Peaceful protest and non-violent civil disobedience has politically moved mountains throughout history. This has to be the way forward, combined with more strategic tactics such as the peaceful and intelligent 'ambush' of directors after the Accrington game (see previous threads).

Reasoned argument will only be effective if the board are forced to listen. Otherwise they will just ignore it.

It makes you wonder what his friends have been up to then. Bratt and co are hiding something I can't see any other reason for their stance with investors especially when they want to see the books. Note Newton has turned down Stockport after beeing allowed to see everything, why wasn't he granted the same courtesy here? Add that same question to The Texans who all came with their lawyer from the USA to view the information as they weren't provided with it before and now Chaudry.

Its alright moaning about civil disobedience Dave but what other methods do you think will work, they have all been tried?

The supporters club held a meeting which only 50 attended but voted to look at calling an egm, the democratic route. The chairman then went onto radio Stoke and the Sentinel and claimed it would cost thousands of pounds to call an egm and the supporters club members who held the meeting weren't even part of the supporters club, he was wrong on both points Dave but you see what I am getting at. Whilst the supporters club was active we had Bratt and Jackson at meetings telling us they would do this and that and the other to effect change, all lip service non of which they have ever followed up on, similar "promises" have been made at AGMs, on the Radio in the Sentinel etc. How many lies do people have to listen to before they think enough is enough?

Some of the behaviour on Saturday was unnacceptable but was caused by fans at the end of their tether with what is going on at our club, whose fault is that do you think, the fans or the board? Some of it was perfectly acceptable and the police on Accrington's carpark said "we will allow you to have your say and speak your minds but could you co-operate with us and stand to one side to allow cars and the coach out", every single person co-operated and the police were brilliant.

I have never been in trouble with the Police in my life but I am protesting

against the board and at some point I could be arrested for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I am prepared for that to happen as I feel passionately that these people need to be moved out of out club. It shouldn't have had to come to this dave but many other routes have been tried and failed and at the end of the day protests usually achieve results.

So you go straight home after the game, sit on your backside and hope everything will be hunky dory and I will carry on protesting with the other 400-500 fans who do so (dozens is innaccurate Dave) in whatever way we feel is neccesary to achieve the needed change. I know which option will have the better chance or success.

I like many think they could be hiding something.Independent audit demanded by shareholders with 10% share capital could find this out.Is it too late to ask for this at the EGM.I understand the cost implications but the Board surely would agree to this if they have nothing to hide.
