As a valeite in exile....i live in Bristol...its sad to say that vales fall has come at the same time as stokes success. So it's natural to reflect on the good times....and grasp at straws.

Have not been to any games this season (not necessarily through choice) so cannot comment on individual performances by the players, but having listened to every game on the radio, it does sound like under Aspin the play has improved, and yesterday we finally got that much needed win.

I would also like to point out I don't agree with all this BS about, some people are more of a fan because they go to more games. I don't attend many games due to health/financial reasons, but that doesn't mean I love the club any less than someone who goes every game home and away

So it seems you made your decision not to go before the end of the season ticket sales (£350 ??).

However, pre season I'd agree that renewing commitment for the new season was a tough decision.

I think you'll agree that Aspin has given us some fresh hope and at the moment at least I'm glad I renewed.

Having supported Vale for over 50 years maybe I've become more accepting of the lows. Smurf isn't the only clown we've had in charge, probably won't be the last.

But do know the squad has many capable players, unfortunately a couple of key week areas are proving so costly.
