Perry Deakin stated the following in today's Q&A's :

 

Hi Mr Deakin, would you be able to confirm how many shares Blue Sky International will hold following the investment deal now signed?

 

Following our visits to the States I can confirm that new investment totalling 24.9% of the club has been secured. I repeat this is new investment into the club, and not the purchase of existing shares.

 

How much needs to be invested for 24.9%, is it £400K ? ...

the answer he gave could be read in many ways, I think its delibrately misleading so they can say they never said they had bought 80,000 shares just that since they visitited the states that 24.9% of new shares have been bought, by whom ?

How many shares were issued pre EGM and has this changed. If the board have increased the share issue say from £2m to £5m plus could it be that 24.9% is £1.25m or greater.

 

This may well be complete ******** but I am trying to fatham out why they are so reluctant to release how much in sterling BSI have bought.

If you carefully at the words used by PD it doesn't actually say any shares have been purchased yet - just that they have been secured?????

Could it be they are talking to another investor, as per Lloyds statement and because of sensitive negotiations, they cannot say too much. Would it be a case of if another investor comes on board, 24% from Blue Sky would equate to a bigger financial input, hence at the moment, they cannot give an accurate figure.

Could be, one investor can buy £400k, but two investors could buy £600k each.
