We drew against a team in the league above us away from home with our best 2 players missing.what's your point?

 

We lost on penalties against a team that had their second string defence starting, having dropped 3 first choice defenders from their win away at Brentford. So we scored 1 goal against Tranmere's reserve defence.

Actually the game WAS DRAWN. The penalty shoot out was to decide which team went through in the event of a drawn match.

I can remember some cup games ( not sure which now ) that after so many games if they ended in draws then they were decided on the toss of a coin.

Well the vote for the best nosh and bar goes to............Burton Albion I think it was excellent there were very little queues in the seated stand and it was very well thought out the best chips peas and gravy ever....better than a chippy love going Burton

Going back to the thread starter, doesn't it actually say that after depreciation Burton actually made losses over the last two years. Seems to me that the announcement of profits is a bit of spin on their part.

I have to agree, good set up at Burton always enjoy going there better than most in this division

Goes without saying that Burton are a proper, well-run and decent little outfit.

 

Been their Stadium a couple of times see Vale there and it's really well thought out stadium, just enough executive boxes to generate revenue, comfy little ground. Just enough for a club of Burton's size (no disrespect).

 

They've come on leaps and bounds during the past few seasons. Credit to them.

 

It was hardly "comfy" in the away end the first time we played at the Pirelli mate :D

There catering inside the ground is fantastic with a well run bar and good food on sale is a start.

 

ive had a wee look around behind the scenes at the pirelli and its a fab set-up,they have lots of conferences with the like of pirelli and coors on the doorstep plus a great commercial team.A club to aspire too and not take the pish out of !!
