They will be desperate if they can't get the Americans on board in some capacity. If that doesn't materialise then Mo may be their only hope before administration. Everyone knows they would rather sell shares for peanuts than accept Mo's millions, but bankruptcy is a real possibility if they ignore the notion.

 

Maybe Mo will wait for the club to enter admin and start afresh with a new broom.I wonder how the pro-board folk would react if the board went with the begging bowl to Mo,shoe on the other foot then,I'd love it!

I have read the follow up, not sure it was needed. Again think the club was tactical in it's response knowing it may need someone to blame for any break down - hence this statement gave them the room to use it.
